While the calories in/out is the factor, for some people, especially us shorties who need a lot less calories to maintain, exercise can be a very important tool. Especially in seeing results fast enough to not be discouraged. And since 1200 calories is the minimum recommended to get enough nutrition (i agree), we do not…

just forgive yourself and know it is not too late to start over (or continue) *now* on the track to health. there is no better time then the present!

for the few days i saw logged in your food diary, your sodium intake seems on the high side. Possible the reason that you are seeing water retention. I also measure myself which can help, as you would see if your measurements are getting smaller even if the scale isn't moving for a bit. But I would reduce the sodium intake…

Thank you for all the suggestions, I will take them all into consideration as Zumba looks like a lot of fun to me! The wii really appeals to me as it seems as if one can do all kind of other exercises as well. I had no idea that the Zumba Gold was for seniors  no wonder it didn't work for me.
-
is that from the zumba.com website?
-
You know I was wondering if the Zumba Gold was different fro mother Zumbas! But I am sort of on the edge to be a baby boomer...and I didn't realize it was "special" lol  Love your horse, I have 2 Arabians and one half Arabian

Maybe I need to look into the wii...don't have it and I always thought it looks like fun!

I am a vegetarian too  I honestly think the protein level is set high here. If you search around from medical websites, you will see al ower recommendation (around 50 for a grown woman), but I am no expert on the matter. A smoothie is definitely a good option, as you can use fresh fruit in it and get a good start to…

Agree with the above post. Truly, when you are on birth control, you do not have a "true" period, due to how the birth control works. I am not going into details here, as you should ask your doctor about this.

When I mentioned "fat", I meant the recommended amount recommended on MFP.
-
thank you, I had been wondering about that for some time

there is one issue I have seen over and over when people wonder about not losing weight, and no one has mentioned this after viewing their diaries, so I would love to hear others insight in this. Macros are always mentioned, and calories highly rated. However, when viewing these peoples diaries, they are always consuming…

not sure what the others are talking about, i see around 1000 cal a day. But i do agree check with your doctor, and not here. Why are you checking your blood sugar level so much unless you are a diabetic?
-
thank you! :)

my log doesn't show potassium? it only shows cal, , fat, protein, sodium and sugar. Can I change setting for this somewhere?

Hi I recently started with some supplements from this lady, she is in Canada, but there are a couple places that sell them in the US online. Search for AdrenaSmart. My husband started it too and seem to be workin gwell. She has one ThyroSmart as well and many other supplements, check out the site for more info. I have and…
