  • Results: No change in my measurements. But I lost 6lbs! I honestly think it's close to 7 but I want to make sure it isn't a fluke so I'll say 6 for now. I'm going back to week 1 and I'm going to do it for a month and try to master the advanced version for each weight. It was great working with you gals!
  • Wow. I'm almost done with Ripped. Will be finished come Saturday. I'll weigh in and measure then. I have a feeling not much changed. However I don't know. I've been hit my the ever friendly TOM so my weight is wonky. I haven't lost much in inches either but my arms are so much more defined then in the beginning of the…
  • 8 pound weights!? Alright then. That's awesome.
  • I know for me I get bored with the current level and welcome the change. It's funny because I did each level of Shred without that feeling. It was nice moving on to the next level but I will say I dread doing the levels after awhile with Ripped. I actually plan on returning to Ripped after I finish level 4 (I start today).…
  • I had a weekend similar to persian_star. Friday I didn't workout and went over my calories for the day. Saturday I spent most my time in the bed and did not workout. I of course went over my calories again. So Sunday I wanted to do better. I started W3. After two days off I wanted to die. I then decided to add a little…
  • I was thinking yesterday ... God I'm so glad I don't have to workout with her in person. I would die!!!
  • @Persian_star I totally agree with you. I really like W2 more than W1. I am also way more sore than Shred. My muscles remain sore even from W1. I bribed the BF to give me a massage and this morining I still have soreness. I'm enjoying it though. Even though I struggle to get through the workout. It's extremely difficult. I…
  • I didn't do Ripped yesterday. Decided to take a day of rest. I'm back on it today though and I'm starting week 2. I didn't see any change in my measurements. Possibly due to my indulgence for the 4th. Anywhoo I'm not worried - still have a lot of time left. My arms did get bigger and I noticed some muscle definition. I…
  • I felt a little like a weakling too yesterday when I was doing push ups. I struggled to complete the second round. I blame it on the lack of sleep I've been getting. This week is the last week of summer school for me so I've been staying up a little later then normal. I probably average 6 hours of sleep a night. Then I…
  • I've been so absent lately but I'm still doing Ripped. Today will be W1 D4. I took a rest day on Sunday because of the crazy weekend. So far so good. I can tell that I'm in better shape then before I did the Shred. I can now do girl push ups. I can do the side lunge with weights with my 5lb weights without much rest. In…
  • I use a scale that measures body fat. The link below will tell you what range you need to be in. http://commonsensehealth.com/Healthy-Living/Healthy_Percentage_Body_Fat_Chart.shtml
  • I brought mines on Amazon. They might also have them at any place you can buy dvds.

  • I finished the Shred about an hour ago. It's been a rough day but I had to get that one last day in. I'll post my measurements tomorrow.
  • Could Jillian have anything to do with that? :) I put on my heels yesterday to go out and I have to say my legs looked amazing.
  • Graduate Student here. In my last year of my degree in Information Design and Communication. My problem is finding time to cook when I have a paper due. Who has the time? I either have to prepare something ahead of time which doesn't always work or stop by Wendy's for a side salad and baked potato. Otherwise I would…
  • I was just thinking the same this morning. Four more day and I thought I would never make it. I'm enjoying level 3. It's amazing that I've gotten this far.
  • She scares the crap out of me too. Yesterday I kept telling my BF I wanted a huge ice cream sundae. He responded with, "What would Jillian say?" I started shaking in my wedges. The ice cream sundae mission was abandoned.
  • You know I'm down! I'm not sure how I'm going to approach the different scheduling. I'm glad for the day off. I believe in the end it won't be a full 30 days of video. I'm thinking the Ripped in 30 is more about the combo of the video and the diet. 30 day shred was more about doing the video everyday to get optimal…
  • You're not alone. I feel the same way. I was surprised at myself for ordering the Ripped in 30. Never in my life have my arms felt and looked so good. Never have my leg muscles been so tight. My belly is not just hanging lowly anymore. It's not gone completey but I'm getting rid of it. I want to keep this up.
  • @persian_star Dang it! I just brought it. I might be having Jillian withdrawal already. I've gotten so use to her yelling at me everyday even with the TV on mute. I just don't know what to do without her. Oh well. Guess I'll get ripped in 30 days. Are you going to follow the meal plan? I just got a new cookbook in the mail…
  • I was thinking about doing ripped in 30. I was going to start it later but I might get it now so I can get it out the way before school starts.
  • I'm not measuring until the end for a grand finale. I can't wait.
  • I totally agree. My friend won't come by until next week. She had a scheduling change but I was thinking about taking some of Jillian's moves. Some of them I really love and others I can do without. I was actually looking for a timer this morning in the Android Market. I will probably combine the C25K with 10 minutes of…
  • Log it under circuit training.
  • I just realized that I jumped the gun on level 3. I was suppose to start today. Oh well. What's an extra day of level 3?
  • My thoughts on Level 3: I really like this level over level 2. The movements are very simple but not easy. I can do everything with some modifications but I can tell I'll be able to keep up. I'm so glad that the next 9 days will be this workout rather than level 2. I also can tell I'm getting stronger. Doing push ups was…
  • I just realized that the countdown begins today . . . 10 more days of 30 day shred. Yay!
  • persian_star I was thinking the same thing. I really don't want to lose any of the muscle I've built so far. A friend suggested that I kept doing the dvd but I really don't want to see this dvd after June. I have another friend that used to be a personal trainer coming over later this week to show me somethings I can do on…
