  • Actually - having lost that much weight, maybe your body needs time to readjust how your skin works for you? It just might not be as tight as other peoples. You're probably just on the exact right track, but might need time. Looking at your photos, looks like your tummy is a bit droopy maybe? I mean, I'm just *looking* at…
  • I've actually gotten Jennifer Connelly a couple times, notably at a goth club - in hollywood. that was fun! And then there was the facebook meme going around, swap your photo for a celebrity's ...and my friends were like huh oh I thought that was actually a picture of you. hah! NOW I'M TOO FAT!! CURSES!!!!!!!!!
  • hahah! with the fat tire label as your image. sure. Anyway, as far as the original poster's query: I like beer a lot. I drink beer a lot. I'm currently trying not to drink beer a lot. It's sad, but I'm female and 31. I just can't just have beers like I used to. Especially good beers, they're usually higher calorie. You…
  • I agree: try adding more proteins. Example breakfast: I don't eat cereal anymore if I can avoid it, because I want 2 cups of cereal and 1.5 cups of milk to even feel full. I am trying to eat an egg at breakfast (90cals) or two, and a slice of bread, or bagel thin (to make an egg sandwich.) (90-110 calories) that = a ~200…
  • When I first moved to L.A., I had like $5-10/week to spend on food. Well, that sure doesn't get you far. I got the cheapest bread I could (pita pockets at the local mexican food store) and then I'd have 1/2 a can of tuna with some mayo for sandwiches at lunch. I'd have things like eggs on hand all the time because they're…
  • I think I have a problem with keeping things on hand - they never get used! (Except frozen veggies - I usually have those on hand, and they're fine!) I hate wasting food, so my solution of the past was to cook less, instead of using up fresh veggies/etc. Maybe I could start with one or two things in the fridge that I'm…
  • What do you mean by balance your macros? Do you do all the heath /diet info for a week, and just divide it out?
  • I'd honestly eat grilled chicken and broccoli every night, if I remembered! That sounds fine. But I think you're right on, with a "fast" meal for once a week meal that is fast. Do you eat snacks on a schedule at all? It sounds weird to me, but I'm wondering how to make my life more consistent, and wondering if a schedule…
  • This sounds like great advice. Didn't really consider cooking FAR in advance of when I'd need dinner :)
  • totally gonna try this! the bf is vegetarian, so quinoa sounds like a great idea! and seriously I usually just boil some peas or some broccoli in the water with mac n cheese pasta, to make it healthier - this is way better!
  • Him: I can't date you because you aren't anti-abortion. Me: Well I didn't say I'd want do get one, if I did get pregnant... I am just not anti-abortion for several reasons. Him: It doesn't matter what the reasons are, you're not anti-abortion. That was a good one. Like, we're totally compatible, but... oh wait we're…
  • sadly I won't have stairs. But keeping it in mind for things like hills, I imagine they have the same effect.
  • HA! I wasn't going to go buy a pullup bar, but I certainly do have a playground down the street. Brilliant!
  • AWESOME Thanks!
  • Haha I'll see if I have anything I can try those with :)
  • Sadly, I will have no 'net, no tv, and no gear - I'm going through my late mother's house, so we're trying to get rid of anything superfluous. BUT ! I do have pinterest/the net right now............ and I'll totally look for images! Thanks :)
  • don't use all caps, seriously. I don't plan on buying any equipment, thanks though.
  • hahah I WISH! Added to my list! Perfect, thank you :)
  • I'll be gone 2 months... but I'm going to try the circuit training stuff, because that stuff IS certainly a workout. Thanks!
  • Yeeeeess. Thighs. I have those. I want less of those. :)
  • I lost my mom a few years ago, and I gained a bunch of weight from that loss. It's soooooooooo hard to lose someone so close. I am so sorry for you. It's going to take a while, but you will make it through OK. 6 months isn't that long of a time, so make sure you try to give yourself some slack. You're not gonna make it…

  • Yes, caffeine is a diuretic. However: tea, especially green tea, actually has VERY LITTLE caffeine. Go look up milligrams of caffeine per drink, and you'll see what I mean. I'd definitely count tea. Coffee I usually don't count in my "water" count, because I'm just trying to make sure I drink more water overall. So I think…
  • hahahah I had 4. I looked at the empty box and was super annoyed at myself. .... and wrote 'em all down anyway.
