If it's pain, I would recommend taking a break to avoid hurting yourself. I used to get a pain in the top of my thighs from running and I temporarily replaced running with rowing until it felt better. The pain hasn't came back since.

You burn 4300 calories a day? Damn
-
I just tend to run on the treadmill for 30 mins. 10 minutes of warming up walking on an incline beforehand. Once or twice a week, I'll also incorporate some weights into the mix after I'm done running.

I use MyProtein. Seems to be a pretty good quality brand.
-
I think it only works on the computer. Go on your check-in page and there should be something that says 'edit previous entries'. Here, you can change the dates of your weight logs to whenever you want.

I don't.

That I won't lose weight eating as much as I do. I've lost over 80 lbs eating like 2500-4000 calories a day. I'd sooner be happy with my food AND weight loss than be miserable.

There's nothing special about protein shakes. They're pretty much just to help you get more protein in your diet. If you think you need more in your diet, go for it. If you calorie limit won't allow it, then it won't help you lose fat so you might need to replace something of equal calories for it.

Being able to target fat is a myth. The only way to reduce fat in a certain area of your body is to lose fat everywhere.
-
Carbs or no carbs, if your body is using more energy that you're eating in total (ie in a deficit), your body will use fat stores to fuel itself. Your body will resort to using some of your lean mass as well as you lose more weight. This is why people encourage weight lifting and eating a decent amount of protein to…

I don't really count my steps. I wore a step counter one day just because I was curious how many I did since I'm on my feet a lot at work. Went to the gym for cardio that day and went to work overnight. Ended up with 27000 steps for that day. So I don't tend to worry about getting steps in.

Any daily activity you do on an everyday-basis like work is included in your activity level setting. So I wouldn't add exercise calories unless you're doing something else on top of your work.

22, Male and 230ish lbs. So I'm pretty overweight so it requires a little more effort for me to exercise. Been running on the treadmills at the gym for about 5 months now. After a warm-up, I start running and my HR tends to climb to a certain point a few minutes after starting (around 165 - 170) and very slowly increase as…

Iron-rich/fortified cereals, red meat (turkey is still ok if you enjoy it more.), beans, dark green vegetables like broccoli or spinach. I'm not a dietitian though so don't take my word for some of those things. They're just what I thought off the top of my head. If you're desperate for iron though, a supplement would…

I eat junk. I'm a boring person and food seems to be something that makes me happy or passes the time.
-
The only advice I can give really is use a method that will be sustainable not just for when you're losing weight, but for the rest of your life. Cutting out every food you enjoy is no fun. If your target is to lose 2lbs a week and your goal is leaving you hungry or without enough room to enjoy the food you like, lower the…

I haven't been on a trampoline in a good 6-7 years. I used to love them in school.
-
I walk on a gradient on the treadmill for 10 mins just to get my heart rate up. It also works my calves quite a bit before I start running so I guess it warms up my legs as well.
-
If mfp is telling you to eat 1200 to lose 2lbs a week, lower your target to 1lb a week and see what your target is. As for the power plate, I rarely use it. There's some at my gym and I use them for planks and maybe massaging a sore muscle for that day. I'm sure there can be some more useful exercises to do on them but I…

Depends if I'm at work or not and if I do a run that day or not. On a day where I run and go to work, I can easily hit 25k steps. On a day where I don't do either. Probably like 1-2k XD
-
Ran a 10k in under an hour :) I'm happy about it because it was my new years resolution.
-
Hey, if you can fit it into your daily calories, then by all means, eat pizza :)
-
I wouldn't recommend eating less than your total gym burns. Your body already uses energy just for doing nothing. You need to find foods and exercises that you can do all the time or add into your daily routine. That way, it won't become boring and you'll have a better chance of sustaining a deficit in the long-term.
-
I wouldn't say no if you're eating that much and not putting on weight. I can eat about 3800 calories a day and not gain weight.
-
A stone is 14 lbs. I think it's only used here in the UK

BROCCOLI IS MAKING EVERYONE FAT. EVERYONE PANIC.
-
This^ Seriously, there is no "diet food". You can eat whatever you want. A calorie deficit will result in weight loss over time no matter what you eat.
-
5lbs of body weight and 5lbs of fat are very different. I doubt you ate an excess of 17500 calories in a week. That'd be like eating 5000 calories a day.
-
As long as you check for sugar content (some flavoured water can have A LOT of sugar), I don't see anything wrong with drinking it.

I used to weigh myself every week. Now it's more like every 2 weeks.
