It would depend on the genre you want to listen to. But I like anything by MitiS. He's like an electronic / house music artist but pretty much any of his music is great to listen to while running.

Walking for 10 minutes at an incline. A 5km jog. About 44 minutes in total

It's pretty funny trolling people into thinking the earth is flat, eh? Wait, you seriously think the earth is flat?

The calorie estimates are notoriously high on here. A lot of people recommend only using around 25-50% of the exercise calories if you plan on eating them back. Cardio has been known to raise your resting metabolic rate for a number of hours after doing said exercise so it might also be trying to take that into account.

3 lbs a week is an aggressive goal. Eat more. Change up your macros every so often so you're eating more fibre, protein and fat. Those will help keep you feeling fuller for the same amount of calories. It's not a race, doing something you can maintain will lead to success in the long-run.

Running to be able to run away from life's problems :)

I was in a car crash and wasn't able to do much in terms of exercise or work. I gained some weight and just felt weak, sluggish and out of shape after I'd recovered. I just kinda got fed up with it and started pushing myself again. I've still got like 30 lbs to lose though before I reach the weight I was at before the…

Just bumping the post :)

I'm not so sure about android but you can sync the iOS health app to myfitnesspal and it'll track your steps there and make a calorie estimation from it. I find it easier to do that than logging walking.

I've been kinda in the same boat recently so I've just been going on youtube and finding some uplifting trance playlists.https://youtube.com/watch?v=iXAbte4QXKs

Depending on the treadmill you're using, you might find running on concrete is a little harder (actual toughness of the floor). Some treadmills offer a little support or shock absorption so that might be the first thing you notice. I got my shoes from sports direct. I run quite flat-footed so I got a pair of Karrimor…

I think it's more important on work on distance than speed to begin with. Even if you have to go slow, if you can keep that pace up for a longer time, you benefit more by building up cardio endurance which you can then use later on to work on speed.

^Pretty much answers it. Deficit for losing weight. Cardio is better for just heart health and feeling fitter. If you just want to focus on toning up your body, you can choose to just strength train.

Your food diary is currently set to private so we can't determine if your calorie intake is accurate or not. If you've gained 12 lbs in the 4 weeks after weighing yourself, your calories in will more than likely be higher than what you are using. What is your activity level? Do you work a desk job or a fairly physical job?…

Depends if what you eat for breakfast will make you feel sluggish or not when you workout. I tend to eat something light so it digests easy when I workout and gives me a bit more energy. The only difference being I eat carbs which are easier to digest. Just try different things and see what works for you. As for weight…

I wouldn't count it as exercise

Weight and fat are 2 very different things. Measuring yourself around various points is a good way to gauge progress since weight can fluctuate as much as 5-6lbs in a single day.

Answer is no. [post edited by MFP mod]

Last time I hurt my leg, I started rowing. Swimming is also a good option as it removes a lot of the pressure gravity normally places on joints.

I personally think it's better to go for distance before speed. You'll normally find that over time your stamina will improve and you'll be able to keep up a higher pace with practice.
-
If it works for you, go for it. It's easier to maintain since you'll be eating similar calories to what you'll be eating at your goal weight so there's no "fad dieting" involved to lose weight faster than necessary.
-
Why would you be disheartened about losing weight? I thought that's what a lot of people on this website were here for. :|

No

You did lose 7 lbs. Just not 7 lbs of fat...

Weight is not fat. Don't worry about it. Just keep eating the right numbers and look over a longer period of time at the general trend in weight.

Anywhere between once a week to once a month.

If you want to lose belly fat, you have to lose fat everywhere

I think if it's just sweat your skin doesn't like, anything soapy will work. I just use the imperial leather foamy banana bubble bath on my face. Works fine and smells like bananas lol

1 week? That's nothing.
