I know my addiction to carbs and sweets so I am choosing to not have them in the house, but I have the ingredients to make something if I want, so that is my scape goat, how bad do I want it...bad enough I have to make it? It is what works for me.

I eat Chia seeds in EVERYTHING, salads, soups, smoothies, coatings, PUDDINGS:P they are my favorite. MY other new fab favorite HEMP seeds, and protein.

I hear you and feel your pain. I suffer depression too and am on depression meds. I also weigh 274 (my new number) :) so I understand how hard and discouraging it can be to get motivated to do anything but eat sometimes. Sometimes all you can do is jump on here and reach out for some support and take that and go on with…

I use Hemp protein powder I have been very happy with it.

Have you tried just taking a couple of tablespoons of your favorite nut butter and making something delicious. I find 2 tablespoons of sunflower or almond butter a tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa and a about 10 or so semi sweet chocolate chips with 2 tablespoons of honey usually does the trick for me.

YAY, I have made the decision to eat half the grapefruit as was suggested and save half for breakfast. thank you for all the input :)

tonight I am making some bananas fried in coconut oil covered in coconut and drizzeled with honey and cinnamon I just make it fit into my daily values :)

The other night I had severe sweet cravings, I drank extra lemon water and did some crocheting, something to keep my mind and hands busy, but if the cravings really won't go away I mix unsweetened cocoa powder with some honey and a couple of chocolate chips and it seems to do the trick, it is a small quick fix.

Motivation is my biggest enemy. I am great at the diet part, the exercise part...not so great! I could definitely use the motivation support as well.
