I dumped 26lbs and stuck on current weight for a week. But metabolic syndrome runs in family so.. trying to work around it. A year ago I was determined and was burning 3,000 cal. a day with intense exercise and 2,500 cal intake. I couldn't get below 238 for months of trying

Dang man. I'm not mad. I just worry about peoples safety. Like a dad. Usually over cautious. We know there are hard gainers and easy gainers. People react to different stimuli. I say. Make sure you know the weight for joints and muscle - and have spotters if you try to go amazon - especially if you tie yourself to something

I saw a women get her teeth knocked out with straps in the early 90's. Lost balance. Went forward still attached and boom. a beginner lifter. But whatever

I merely don't recommend straps because there had been some incidents with them. But to each their own risk

That's an Olympic bar I presume. They should have 60lb dumbbells or higher? You need a regular bar. I don't recommend wrist straps - in fact I personally haven't seen them in ages. You can try lighter weight, higher rep and descending sets. That's most optimal after first increasing weight to the max. Decreasing 2-3 sets…

Personally. I won't eat back calories I've burned unless it's a monster day of burning calories. Even then I only eat back some.…

Some people say to eat back a certain amount depending on weight training, cardio etc... I absolutely DO NOT. Have been loosing weight every day. However. If you already have a very low calorie fix and burn off something like 1500 calories in a day. Logic dictates you would eat some back. As an example, todays calories…

I agree with Hornsby. Go for a long walk., treadmill,.. or kick the hell out of a cardboard box until you are tired

I absolutely try not to eat back what I burned. But heavy weight training requires protein. (And carbs if thin enough to benefit) So I supplement with lowest calories possible. Have been loosing weight and gaining muscle so this scheme has been working for me since last Christmas. Cjazz may be right in saying eat half of…
