We try to eat healthy most nights so it is easier. If we are eating a meal that isn't as healthy I add extra veggies to my plate or I watch my portions more. I have heard cardio helps a lot. Also if you suck/pull in your belly button (for lack of a better description haha) as much as possible that helps. This also helps with your posture because it forces you to sit or stand straighter. You can do this anywhere.

I would think as long as you keep up with your plan you should see results. I think the results vary greatly for everyone. Some people are blessed with great muscle tone and skin. I am not one of those lucky people. Haha Good luck! We can do this!!!

I am 5'2" and have a 1200/cal limit. I just started this plan. I used to eat close to 1800 cal/day. So 1200 seemed crazy to me. But with earning the extra calories by exercising I am averaging about 1400 cal/day which is still less than I was eating so I hope it works.

I can understand that! My family is the same way. One of them told me the other day that with all the running around I do it is amazing I am not skinny! Gee thanks! :( Good luck to you and I hope you find a lot of support here.

Welcome! I know what you mean about the pain. I have a herniated disc in my lower back which is constantly acting up. It is very frustrating to not be able to exercise and then gain weight because of it. :( Good luck to you!
