All the mommys who have had c sections...advice?

Okay, I'm feeling like I'm never going to get my tummy toned...It's actually not that bad....and I feel like with a lot of work it can be done. Any of you moms with a c section loose weight in the tummy area, and it look great ?if so, Tips? Ideas? Work out tips? Anything will help. I just want to know for sure that I can do this!:) I just need the motivation!

I would think as long as you keep up with your plan you should see results. I think the results vary greatly for everyone. Some people are blessed with great muscle tone and skin. I am not one of those lucky people. Haha Good luck! We can do this!!!0

I've had 2 c-sections. After the first one, my belly went back to 'normal' after only 2 months... Exclusively breastfeeding, I guess. My last one, which was almost 2 years ago- not so quick. I'm guessing because I had my baby when I was 40 and my body just isn't going to bounce back like it did 12 years ago. I didn't exercise at all after the first one- and it just eventually got back.0

Well I'm hoping mine will go back to normal. I alwys have been a small girl before I got pregnant. But now I'm fifty pounds over weight working hard to get it off. I just want to know certian work outs that may help...or tips. Or anything...I will try annnything lol0

i have had 2 c-sections and my stomach is a disgrace! I have stretch marks from just under my boobs right down to the pubic bone, all over. they have faded, but are still there like the surface of the moon on my stomach, and there is a heap of excess skin...
i fear that i will need surgery to correct this once i've lost all my weight. the overhang doesn't feel like it's going to get smaller as i lose weight.... but we'll see. it is looking better after losing 10kg, but i just don't think i'll be able to do it naturally no matter how much weight I lose. i don't think i'll ever be a bikini girl again in this lifetime.
But, you never know, my original goal was to lose 5kg a year over the next 4 years, and i've lost 10kg in 3 months, so i might yet surpise myself0 -
I've had 2 c-sections and my younger one just turned 1 recently. I havent gained any weight since his birth, but am unable to shed any as well (mainly beacuse I have not been to the gym in ages and I eat when stressed or depressed). Whenever I start going to the gym, one of the kids fall sick and its one thing after the other. I work full time as well. And since I started dieting, there has been some party or other at work and even though I manage to count calories, I always end up eating the wrong type of food. I'm starting over today and hope I can get some exercise in as well this week.0

I had a C-section last april. I never got back into the groove of working out or eating right and gained back upto what I was before my surgery. In january I stated working out and changing my lifestyle. Now I haven't lost all my pooch area (as I call it) yet, but it has went down alot. I've been doing jillian micheals 30 day shred, it kicks your butt, the results are so worth it though. I'm half way through it and have lost 12 inches over all and about 4 of those are from my pooch area!!! I also do the eliptical or walk 3-4 times a week along with it. Other than that I haven't heard anything you can do to target weightloss from that specific area, your best very is to do exercises that work that area! I hope this helps. I have heard cardio helps a lot. Also if you suck/pull in your belly button (for lack of a better description haha) as much as possible that helps. This also helps with your posture because it forces you to sit or stand straighter. You can do this anywhere.0

I have had 5 c-sections and didnt have any problem with the pooch until my last one now he is almost 18months and its still there.
I haven't done much to do anything about this so hopefully being on here will help!!

I have had two children, my first was a natural birth about 2 1/2 yrs ago and my second child was a c-section 15 months ago. I cant believe the difference between the two births on the impact of my stomache. The c-section totally made my lower stomache sag! I have recently started doing crunches and laying on my back and lifting my legs off the ground to target my lower belly. It feels like it is working. Another exercise is getting on all fours and extending one arm and the opposite leg at the same time and holding the position, then go back on all fours and do the other arm and leg, alternating the extensions. Do as many reps as you can. I hope this helps you. We will be doing it together
