  • I have no problem telling people what I've done and how I've been 150lbs since July 2010. I say this isn't for everyone but it helps to know just what you are putting in your mouth. I have friends that have used it and love it, one of my co-workers went from 198 to 177 right now and absolutely loves mfp. He makes me look…
  • I am the same way since losing, hmmm you could be on to something. I'm curious to what others have to say as well.
  • Time of Month, aren't you glad you asked?
  • You goto goals and change it to lose zero per week, to maintain the weight you are at now.
  • See what your maintenance calories are and as long as you don't go over them you are fine. You probably are good for a 1lb loss with what you're at now. I keep myself set at maintenance and manage not to go over that. I've maintained since July and had 3lbs loss in past 3 weeks.
  • Good luck and feel free to add me!!!
  • Remember to be honest, if you eat it, log it!!! Pretty simple. You will find out how many calories are in some foods and find out they just aren't worth it. I have been here since March but I started in January pushing 200lb mark and worked hard and reached 150 in July, yesterday I was 147, I am happy with where I'm at and…

  • I'm here to support you. I have been here since March and reached my goal in July of 150; last weekend I reached 148. As long as I maintain or lose I am good but I think we all could use help along the way. Good luck and add me.
  • i do it from the time I get up until I hit the bed. I rotate from nights to days then back to nights; I may eat dinner when I wake up and eat breakfast food before going home. I still log those foods where they belong but it doesn't matter when I actually ate them. On the day I wake up from nights I may only eat 2x's and…

  • I've been here since March, add me if you need some motivation. I hit my goal of 150 in July and this past weekend was 148. I started my weightloss in January and found mfp in March, it's working and the weight is staying off. Good luck all.
  • My staples are chicken, rice, oatmeal, kashi cinnamon harvest, almond milk, fruit, eggs, frozen veggies, chicken broth, no salt tomato sauce, drink packets for water. Good luck
  • NSV non scale victory, any victory that doesn't include the scale.. Finally in skinny jeans, I ran today, etc...
  • I find eating an apple helps, medium size is 80cals. Eating lean protein with carb(sweet potato, rice, potato, oatmeal ) helps the carb last instead of spiking your sugar and then dropping. Small meals every 3 hours. Good luck!
  • I'm in NEPA also. Almost to the NY border.
  • You can buy a resistance band, jump rope, balance ball as well to change things up. Where I live I can goto the local high school from 5:30-7:30pm and use the cardio room and weight room for free. Look into that. Look online for exercise at home ideas. Good luck!
  • Look in recipes and search chocolate, tons of healthy options. You can use a 15oz can of pure pumpkin mixed with choc cake mix make 24 cupcakes and put ingredients in recipe and you'll have calories per cupcake and love it! You don't have to give up things just find healthy way to make them. Good luck!
  • Here's what I did recently: 1 medium size macintosh apple 1tsp cinnamon 1tsp splenda I peeled and cut my apple in slices then cut the slice in half, rinsed the apples with water in micro safe dish, added cinnamon and splenda, stirred to coat apples well. I microwaved covered for 1 minute. It was delicious: the only…
  • It's what helps me drink more than 8 glasses/day. I usually put 1/2 packet per 16.9 oz bottle if it's something that tastes overly sweet. There are days I will use the whole packet. I like 4C teas. I have crystal light variety pack as well. I like the mio as well. you can really control how sweet you want it. Happy…
  • I believe it's ceylon cinnamon isn't it? I have the other (cassia) but I add it to unsweetened applesauce and to my oatmeal. I also dip a spoon in raw honey and then in the cinnamon, I think it does wonders. I have a huge bottle of the Cassia so until it's gone I haven't bought the Ceylon type.
  • Oh look my picture says joined March 2011, lol!!!
  • I'm 5'7" and was close to 200lbs in January when I started to lose weight, I don't think I started MFP until March? I chose to lose 2lbs per week. I was allowed 1200 calories per day. I worked out as well. In July I reached my goal of 150lbs and haven't lost anymore. I didn't pick my settings for protein etc. I just…
  • There's more protein in greek yogurt. check the labels.
  • Sure do, it's an part of my 8 glasses/day, isn't that where we count that?
  • put ground turkey in the search above and you should find tons of recipes. I posted a chili recipe that my picky husband even liked.
  • Look up master cleanse. It's a part of that; you also drink water with lemon, cayenne, and grade B maple syrup. You have drink juice and soups after doing the cleanse for 10 days to ease back into food but need to eat unprocessed foods. I haven't tried it so I can't give you any advice. It says 2 tablespoons of sea salt to…
