Gaah! Tell him to find some other hidden place to keep them if he "needs" them in the house. Be strong! :drinker:

How recent is recent and how far below your calorie goals are you? Be sure to eat ALL of the calories you are allotted. If not your body will try to hold on to the "food" in the fat stores. Seems counter intuitive but you need to trust your body. Be sure you are eating proteins, fruits, veggies and steering clear of the…

woooooowwwwww!!! Awesome..... I'm off to go work out now. :flowerforyou:

Adding a set of hand weights and ankle weights would make the walk more intense and still allow you the social aspect. I say keep it up and ramp it up with weights.

Hello and welcome! It sounds like you have great goals lined out for yourself. Best wishes! :drinker:

I hear you. I felt the same way when I got my hrm about our gazelle. I did end up moving on to find another workout that was more effective for me. Along this line... would your walking partners be interested in getting some fitness bands? You could do some strength training during this time 2/3 days a week and walk the…

I agree! I like to use flavors to get all my water in though. :blushing: Or mostly ice...

I found mine on Amazon for ~$30. It's not top of the line by any means but it gets the job done. I have a RBK precision Trainer XT (http://www.amazon.com/Reebok-Precision-Trainer-XT-Monitor/dp/B0012RMZ6C ~though I see it's unavailable right now :ohwell: ). If you do a search on Amazon you will find a few to choose from. I…

I have a heart rate monitor so I'm probably not much help... I log them in under strength training and aerobics, low impact. I haven't had an uninterrupted Cardio workout with it yet (Thanks to my 3yo) so I have no idea how much one session burns for me.

Fantastic! What great motivation. :drinker:

Gaah! I want to try them but I can't find them in any of the stores in my area. Maybe when I go to my parents in CA next week... They look yummy!

Thanks for sharing. I love a new pilates challenge. Saw these in the store a few weeks ago but wasn't sure about it. Do they slide OK on carpet?

You're awesome! Congrats. :drinker:

*woot woot* :drinker:

aww poor thing. I am very prone to sinus infections and feel your pain. I would maybe do something light...maybe pilates. Take it easy and focus on strength rather than cardio. Have you tried a sinus rinse? Sometimes that helps if I'm on the verge. (Although it just causes more pain if the infection has already set in.…

congrats on the changes you've made so far! You have already proven your strength, and you can do this too. :flowerforyou:

Gaah! That would have gotten me today too. Stay strong! :drinker:

I noticed last time we were there that my turkey sandwich was higher in cals (according to the napkin  ). They have changed things to included the cheese in the new total. There should be a notation somewhere on the site or the printed material to verify what's on it. I just have to watch the sodium levels when we…

Nice! Congrats.:drinker:

No cheese in that number. I load up on the veggies since most of them have very low cals anyway.
