I'm 5'9", 164lb, and jeans range from an 8 all the way up to a 12...depending on how they are made.

Congrats and thanks for sharing!!

Drink LOTS of water...and try not to worry about the scale quite as much. See if you can tell that your clothes are fitting any differently. Good luck!

I work late, so I try to eat my "dinner" at work before I leave. Then, after my workout, I often make myself some eggs (protein) after I get home. By this time, it's near 10 p.m. It works for me. I think the bottom line is to find what works best for you. Everyone is different...so focus on YOU and get there through some…

Personally, I don't typically eat if I'm working out first thing in the morning. If my time at the gym is in the evening, I make sure that I haven't eaten a heavy meal and that it's at least an hour before I walk into the gym. I hope you find what works best for you!

I do a two-egg omelet with spinach many nights...add tomato, cilantro, onion salt, pepper! Healthy, low-cal, quick meal after the gym.

Congrats to you!!

Unless you got to the point that you're at NOW in seven days, you won't undo the damage that quickly either. Hang in there!! It's a process...but you're on the right track. Make sure you are drinking LOTS of water too.

Funny that you bring this up now...or ironic. I have hit abs hard (maybe too hard) for the last several days in a row. I'm feeling the pain and was wondering if I should alternate that area just like I do the rest of my workouts. Thanks for bring this up!

42 and feeling great! Most people don't think my 18 year old son is mine...LOL!!

Good for you and THANKS for sharing!!

Some are so set in their beliefs about you HAVE to eat this and you CAN'T eat that. If that was the way I looked at my food choices, I would NEVER have stuck with my weight loss and ACHIEVED my SECOND goal!! Calories in...calories out! :drinker:

Ditto!!!

The scale motivates me! I get on it just about every day.

Congrats!!

Wow! There are some negative responses on here. My take is that eating something is better than nothing so find what works for you. Good luck!

This may sound silly, but make sure you drink LOTS of water too! :drinker:

5'9.5" and my starting weight was just shy of 200 lbs...currently down to 167 lbs...size 12 is slightly loose. I want to see what I feel like when I get back into size 10 and I'm not sure where that will be on the scale. My current goal is set at 165 and I really need to tone after losing 30 lbs. Luck to all...don't go too…

I don't know what is or isn't right, but I try to have less for my "dinner" than for my "lunch" so that I have longer to burn those calories before going to bed. But, that is just my personal thought. Good luck in finding what works best for you.

Fantastic!!!

I absolutely do this! I'll record what I'm having for the day and if there is something that is pushing me over my calories, I'll hit the gym longer to make up for it. I don't see a thing wrong with it.
