Also new and figuring it all out. MFP has me at 1200 NET but this seems low so I don't worry tpoo much if I go a couple hundred over, especially on exercise days. I started last Monday as well and I also lost 4lbs this week and have worried a bit that it's artificial / water weight. Whatever it is I am pretty happy to see the scale move and it will hopefully keep me motivated to keep disciplined this week (but not be disappointed next week with a smaller loss).

Omg - tell me about it! I got carried away with the drinks on Sat and eventually was so irritated with myself for wasting my week's work I went home early and grumpy! Will think twice about those drinks next time!
