I like to do my workout as soon as I get up. It gives me energy for the whole day. Its especially good on the days that I run because I start the day off with a runners high.

I love running outside. Its nice to get some fresh air and be able to vary my route to get different scenery. And I can run anywhere. I don't need to worry about finding a treadmill when I'm traveling.

Try not to eat too many processed foods. Make as much as you can from scratch.

My breaking point was spending 15 minutes in a dressing room trying to get out of a size 24 dress without ripping it because I couldn't admit to myself that I needed a size 26. That was 10 years ago and I am now 98 pound lighter and a size 14. Lots of ups and downs along the way, but I think I'm finally getting it right.

A few bad days doesn't mean you should give up. If your weight is up this week just get right back into tracking and working out. Better to have to drop 1-2 extra pounds now than 20-30 if you just keep letting things slide. Setbacks happen. You still need to live your life, even if you are trying to lose weight.

It's really good marinated (any marinade you would use for meat will work) then stir fried with fresh veggies. Serve it over brown rice for a really filling meal. Firm or extra firm works best for this. Its also good grilled - extra firm, marinated on skewers about 5-10 minutes.

If I'm going out to eat I usually look up the nutrition information for the restaurant ahead of time. That way I go in with some idea what I'm going to order and how its going to affect my calorie count for the day. I've found that some of the healthiest sounding dishes on the menu are actually the worst nutritionally.

Use the recipe calculator. Create a new recipe, put in the number of servings it makes and all the ingredients. You can add your portion to your diary and the nutrition information will adjust based on the serving size you actually eat. You can save the recipes for future tracking too.

I work in a 3 story building with the slowest elevator in the world. I take the stairs when I get to work in the morning (I work on the 3rd floor) and whenever I have to go to a different floor.

If you've been doing a lot of toning you could also have built up muscle mass which increases your weight even if you are getting smaller. Muscle increases your metabolism too so you are burning more calories even when resting.

If you don't see any of the yolk mixed in you're probably ok doing just the 17 calories. You could try buying a carton of egg whites to use on the days you want to cut back. That way you wouldn't have to worry about the yolks.

I like Nature's Path Mesa Sunrise with soy or almond milk. The cereal is gluten free too.
