The…

I had this exact issue! I took up running fell in love with it but I inflamed my sacrum so I have switched swimming and fast paced walking with the hope to return to running. It does get more enjoyable I promise!!!

You should be hugely proud of yourself!! Your face has totally changed....and is that a cheeky fruit bowl in the background of your 'after' picture : )

I have the same problem at work, believe me the novelty very quickly wears off and after the first couple it will become much less appealing!!!!

I would say for one week eat normally - as you are today, this will get you in the habit of logging everything and you will soon see where you're current food choices are contributing to your weight. Then analyze you week diary - where and when did you make unhealthy food choices? What healthier alternatives could you have…

That's a really good point, I do love my curves but maybe just a bit more toned : )

That's a good tip, I will try that. I do need to do some isolated exercise like squats etc, so will work that into my week. Thanks!

I've just flicked through some of your diarys and it seems you have been over your recommended cals regularly and you are choosing processed foods a lot, do you enjoy cooking? Maybe try some home cooked from scratch meals so you can pack them full of veg? I'm not sure the McDs helped...?! Getting creative with cooking…

Yeah I find it boring too but if it is a good burner then it sounds like a good substitute for running while I am out of action

Hi, 30 year old female. I have lost 22lbs in total through slimmingworld but I don't trust their "unlimited"portions so using my fitness pal to measure portion size and to add exercise too. I have 38lbs to go! Great app and great app and great community on here, good to find the Brita!! Feel free to add me!

That's awesome, thank you! Makes great sense! I'm actually a pretty good swimmer so looking forward to getting back to it! Enjoy Thursdays ladies : )

That's crackers...So 30 mins of swimming is double what I was burning for the same running....!! I'll take that : ) you're right about the benefits of toning as well something that I think I forget about thanks for that.....can't wait to dust of the swimming costume and goggles now : )

If you don't want to weigh food have you considered Slimmingworld? They base their diet.on unlimited amounts of certain food. If you want to calorie count (which is essentially what MFP is you need to get into weighing otherwise your just guessing. Just find an eating plan that suits you....maybe MFP isn't it?

Hi, I have lost 22lbs since January 2014 - a combination of food optimising and regular exercise, 18lbs to go! Good luck!

i am not a cardio fan, but I find that circuit training is great for me as it combines cardio and strength and each rep is only 45 seconds so manageable and you dont get a chance to get boared before you move onto the next station!

These sounds great! Totally trying these this weekend : )
