  • Congratulations! I forgot to add to my red my reply. All the weight is worth it.
  • Talk to your doctor. My doctor put me on a low sugar diet, eating every 2-3 hours. I had gestational diabetes, but when I got on that diet I stopped gaining weight as quickly as I was. You doctor should've able to find a nutritional plan that is right for you and your little one.
  • Victoria's Secret. It's amazing. Well worth the money. It has an front clasp, then a separate outter zipper part.
  • Hi! I'm in! I have a beautiful six month old baby boy. I was overweight before the baby, and a little thicker after. We can do this together!

  • Done! And Happy St. Patrick"s Day Everyone!
  • I just started fresh meat training with my local roller girls : ) I'll send you a friend request, maybe we can compare notes!
  • Chantix really helps. I also download the free QuitNow app on my phone. I like that it gave me a timeline of goals - normal breathing, taste senses, etc. It's hard. Stay away from drinking for the first few weeks, and then when you do, just 1 or 2, not enough to lose your willpower. The first week is the hardest. Give…
  • I have a good husband who does his best to support me. Celebrates my victories, and is encouraging. Although, he does eat the occasional cookie around me, LOL.
  • I have not been to Dublin, but I have been to Limerick, Ireland. They have wonderful steel cut oatmeal for breakfast - they just call it porridge :) Also, chicken curry is good (different than Indian chicken curry), and soups. . . they have the most wonderful soups in Ireland. And all their food less processed. Have a…
  • I'm in, can't wait!
  • You may need to reevaluate your daily calorie needs if you are hungry all the time. MFP suggested 1200 for me, and I was starving and tired all day. I saw a nutritionist, and she put me on 1600 calories a day. I feel much better now. Just a thought. Snack ideas: celery - 6 calories for a medium sized stalk. I might add…
  • "This is why your fat" by Jackie Werner The title is harsh, but it was a really good book, one that actually motivated me to change my diet.
  • I use a heart rate monitor. It seems to be the most accurate for me. I used to just log the 500, but I wasn't sure I was really burning 500. Good Luck!
  • I would check out a TDEE calculator that isn't on this site. I recently saw a nutritionist, who upped my calories to 1600. I feel so much better. 1200 was too low for me. I was tired throughout the day. I'm small too, 5'1. And with the exception of my workouts, I am not that active. It may take some tweaking, but listen to…
  • I read in Jackie Werner's book - everytime you start to think negative thoughts about your body. Say to yourself "I'm getting stronger and more beautiful everyday"
  • I do 2 cheat meals. This isn't a diet - it's a lifestyle change. To say that I am never going to have drinks with my friends or eat a slice of pizza, I'd never stick to it. I got the 2 cheat meals from Jackie Werner's book "This is why your fat". If you eat clean 5 days in a row, you can 2 cheat meals on the weekend. One…
  • Happy Thanksgiving! Is it too late to join? My name is Sam, I weigh 159lbs, and I would like to be in the 6-8lb group. Thanks! Sam
  • It's a great program. As everyone here said it, you get what you put into it. If you are worried about it being to hard, try Power 90. It is the program that came before P90X. It's still a great program that will get you in shape, it's just not as intense as P90X. But you always have the option to modify it until you can…
  • Whenever I am feeling that lack of motivation, I look up trainer tips and motivational speeches by people like Tony Horton or Jackie Warner. My favorite is Tony Horton's 11 laws of fitness. I just google the trainers name or trainer tips/motivation. Usually, when I'm procrastinating my working out, it's the kick in the…
