I tend to eat a lot of calories a few hours before bedtime. I "save" them for nighttime, so it's within my calorie limit, but probably should be spread out better. Brushing my teeth by 8:00 is the only thing that works for me. After 8, the fridge is closed.

Just finished my Shred Challenge and decided to re-focus on running. The Shred has really helped my endurance. Today I ran 4.5 miles and walked .5. For me this is great. I'll try to post when I can, thanks all for keeping this thread. You all inspire me to keep going! :flowerforyou:

Did L3 in addition to a 1 hour walk pushing double stroller---weather was decent when we left but downpoured on the way back. Luckily I brought the stroller rain cover. Unluckily, I didn't bring one for me!

GREAT JOB!!! So tell me/us ...... how did you do it - did you start at level 1 for 10 full days, then level 2 for 10 days, then level 3 for 10 days ...... or what?? I've just been bouncing around doing all the levels ....... well, really alternating levels 1 and 2 ..... I've only done Level 3 twice (wow - hard). I'm not…

Yesterday was my last day of Shred L3. I have gone down one pants size and my arms are awesome. I've decided to go back and do L2 for 1 week with 8 lb. weights instead of 5. What a difference! My arms were screaming!

Checking in before bed. Shredded at 5AM!

Shredded at 5AM--God help me. Thursday will be my 10th day of L3. Not sure what to make my next goal. Maybe L3 and another level later that day after work?
-
I was shredding before this thread started. I don't weigh myself due to past ED, but I KNOW I've lost at least 1 pant size in two weeks. I am almost finished with L3 and although I still struggle with the jump squats I can do most everything only catching my breath occasionally. I'm still going to do L3 daily until the end…

This is exactly why I haven't been weighing myself since this past spring. The stinkin' mind games that one h#llacious pound will do to your mind. I feel better, I work out and I eat clean 90% of the time and within my calories. Hang in there. We feel your pain. It might be a good idea to weigh yourself every other week or…

A few of you mentioned taking a day off. I do! Today is the day. I take one day off a week and today I walked 7 miles around the golf course. Just need to take a break once in a while. I find when I do this, and I shred the next day, I have more energy. Good for the mind and body. Happy shredding all!

Day 7 of L3. Finally can get through most of it with Natalie except those darn "plyometric" jump squats. :grumble: You know it's bad when she prefaces the exercise with "this is no joke." Still continue to mop the floor with my sweat everyday. Does that ever get better? Nevermind, it makes me know I'm torching calories.

Shredded this morning. Level 3. My wrists are getting stronger but still complaining. More plank moves! In L1 and L2 by day 8 or so I actually felt I could get through the circuit. Hopefully this happens for me on this Level. I want to be a Natalie follower and am almost there.
-
I would say I'm addicted. I'm getting up at 5 AM every morning to do this. Losing sleep--precious to any mom out there with little ones! Shredded on Level three. Double jump ropes just aren't my thing BUT I am starting to mostly follow Natalie. I could MAYBE do levels 1 and 2 back to back, but definantly not 2 to 3. No way!

I'll put today's post under the date. Might be a bit "cleaner this way?" Sorry if I'm stepping on toes. A new daily thread is probably the way to go...... Day 4 of L3. Still Evil, but now I can do about 1/2 of "Natalie". The only problem I'm having is with the jump lunges (on circuit 1). I can't keep my balance and my…

I'll put a date for today! Watch for the new thread?!

Day 4 of L3. Still Evil, but now I can do about 1/2 of "Natalie". The only problem I'm having is with the jump lunges (on circuit 1). I can't keep my balance and my ankles are dying. The rest I'm getting, still sweating like crazy! I am entering my exerise as "circuit training" for about 24 minutes since the warm up on…

Let me tell you. I've been on level 3 for 3 days and it is EVIL EVIL EVIL. However, I'm proud of how far I've come in 22 days. I haven't lost 20 pounds, but I know I've lost at least 5 (past ED). And boy, do I look so much more toned. I'm going to religiously devote at least another month to this everyday and then I will…

I am on Level 2 on my 7th day. I consider myself in decent shape and it kicks my rear. The sweat absolutely rolls off of me. I'm in!

Frozen yogurt Veggie Pizza with reduced cheese Fruit Smoothies Crustless Pumpkin Pie (recipe on MFP boards) Homemade oatmeal Almonds (wish I could--daughter allergic to nuts!) Whole Wheat Pasta with Veggies I rarely have a problem getting my cals and I exercise 300-400 more a day. I don't eat ALL of my cals as I don't have…

Hi, Ran 3.5 and walked 1 this morning. A nice cemetery run with lots of hellacious hills! No humidity. Yay! Happy running all.
-
Walked two and ran two miles pushing double stroller. Whew! My little ones aren't so little anymore. Hopefully I'll get a good run in Saturday and Sunday, hands free. Good luck all.

How funny! I just finished up with the workout and logged on. I am on day 4 of the shred and love it. I considered myself in decent shape with about 20 pounds of lagging baby weight to lose. It's fantastic. Jillian is tough, not out there to be your friend. I am still on level one and I'll be there for 6 more days, then…

Try caloriesperhour.com. I push a double stroller with two toddlers who each weigh 30+ pounds, uphill, etc. I add 150 calories more per hour for this. I really keep up my pace almost as much as if I was walking alone. I have been walking daily for an hour plus a workout tape. I have really seen a difference in my body…

I can relate to the heat. Very hard to get out an run when you get hit with a wave of humidity as soon as you walk out the door! Did four miles this AM, three of running and one of walking. I want to get some muscle work in so I have started the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred in. I started yesterday and I am sore. Just on…
-
Wow, many of you really have great distance runs. Don't know if I'll get there, but maybe someday. Got up at 5, couldn't sleep! Walked 1 mile, ran 3.5 and walked another mile. The humidity was already bad at 6 AM. It's going to be a steamer today. Happy running all!

Boca burgers on ricecakes with green beans. Bocas heat up in the microwave quickly--throw them on a crunchy rice cake, add a veggie and you have a filling meal. I keep cut up chicken breasts in the fridge. I heat up a small portion, throw it in a wrap and add feta cheese and a little dressing or mustard. Takes less than…

I look at this thread daily, but never have posted b/c I'm not a regular runner. But, I'm up to 3x a week, so I guess there's some regularity. Got up at 6:00, to beat the heat. Ran a mile, then did a cemetary run, up and down the hills in the local boneyard, for about 20 minutes. Walked a half mile and then did another 1.5…

Walked about 3.5 miles pushing double stroller. It's a steambath here in Iowa! I ordered the "Shred" from Jillian Michaels on Monday. Hopefully that will be added to my routine this week. I'm trying to add something new every few weeks. Right now I'm walking daily for an hour. Then I do Ellen Barret's Yogini tape (OUCH!)…

I've been doing it for two years off an on. I don't think it's too much of a huge problem, but yes, I sometimes eat pieces of something and spit it out. It is a secret for me. I'm with you, and I understand what you are thinking in your head. I guess it's better than binging and purging, but probably that's the only…
