my husband likes alf's natural nutrition puffed wheat and puffed rice cereals. Its 70 cals per cup, and only has whole grain as the ingredient. Available at walmart for 1.00 a bag.

I can do cottage cheese, especially if it has a bit of fat in it, like the 2% or 4% variety. but velveeta is a tummy ache waiting to happen for me.
-
are processed cheeses not aged in that way? Because I have had trouble with processed cheeses like velveeta in the past. Which is unfortunate, because I enjoy the taste of vel.

I like fiber one original. 60 cals for 30g, and gives you nearly a full day's fiber.

lactaid tastes has a really fresh and slightly sweet taste. Its awesome. I have a degree of lactose intolerance that allows me to eat some types of cheese, cottage cheese, and greek yogurt. But I struggle with kraft singles, ice cream, regular milk, and regular yogurt.

I know a kid who is 6, who receives the majority of her calories via feeding tube. Severe intolerances coupled with failure to thrive, made the feeding tube a necessary part of her life. when I think about her, I feel like I am lucky to be able to eat the variety that I can eat.

i have had stomach issues for a long time, lactose interolerance, GERD, recently I had a case of "fermenting gut"... Blerg. Anyways, I have to be pretty careful what I eat so I dont hurt. When I have to go on the "bland diet" per my doctors recommendation, I am ususally pretty bummed about it, it certainly isnt the worst…

MMT is not made of money

yeah, it would have to cost the same as lactaid, or i am not interested.
-
yeah if they carried that in my local grocery store I would try it. I am pretty happy with lactaid as is, but that looks interesting.

oh, and franzia sunset blush boxed wine is 95 calories per 5 oz glass, and tastes like kool-aid and champagne had a baby.

if i was in college I would just eat basic stuff that didnt require much cooking. Stock your pantry with microwave packet oatmeal or cereal, peanut butter, maybe raisins or other dried fruit. Then in your fridge I'd have a loaf of bread, some cold cuts/cheese, milk, and some cheap veggies (baby carrots/celery) then I'd…

we dont have fairlife locally, the only lactose free cow's milk my store carries is lactaid 2%. I will definitely try it if it makes its way here though.

As i said, some people love keto. Especially if they have had issues with hunger/fullness previously.
-
I like to eat 4 meals a day. small breakfast, and the rest of the meals have equal calories. I like having something in my belly before I go to sleep.
-
i limit caloric beverages, like soda and juice, and encourage my kids to drink water instead. I serve fruit/veggies everyday, serve normal kid sized portions, and we eat at regular set mealtimes vs all day snacking. That is what I do with my kids, for their overall health. in addition to the above, I also log what I eat on…

family favorite!

i am mixing a can of tuna with some mayo and veggies, and using that as a dip for saltine crackers today.

tops is okay. I havent attended my local group in a while, but I used to attend weekly. It can be a great source of support, but also quite a few foods were demonized in my local group, so you will just have to see what works for you.

i love pasta and crackers. I would be really sad if I had to stop eating those.

I have stomach issues- GERD, gastritis, lactose intolerance.... etc. When I tried a completely plant based diet for 4 months, and despite eating all the same stuff I was as a vegetarian, my stomach issues took a turn for the worse. My doctor put me on a restrictive diet for a while, which was like a lower carb version of…
