Was able to post on loseit (I think :-/ ) but fitness wouldn't allow links? :-/ Thank you for the suggestion! :-D

Contest ends today. :-( She's about 30 or so votes behind the last time I checked!
-
So far it doesn't look good. :-( She's in third place.

Oddly, everywhere MINUS my vag. Thankful for small favors, right? Mild thrush on the tongue, mild seborrhea on my scalp and face, I get severe bloating once in a while (intestinal)...

So weird. I'm 5'8" and am an 8 or 10 depending on who made it. (prof pic is current weight)

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article71003.ece I almost hope she has an eating disorder and that that body isn't just a simple choice.

Cut up some raw veggies and I just found this recipe for low cal ranch dip that's phenominal! 1 container low fat cottage cheese 1 pkt ranch dressing/dip powder Throw them in the blender and blend together until you have a smooth consistency. Depending on your brands you'll have a different caloric value so you'll have to…

And if it was an office party, why in the hell didn't anyone else tell cake-boy to shove it?

I want to know the HR person that set out to only hire people with self-esteem issues. At least you openly admit to yours. Those others...their closets are so stuffed with issues that they're about the bust the doors open. Honestly - the guy sounds like he needs a swift kick to the balls for being obnoxious and the woman,…

I know when some people stall on their weight loss they like to temporarily lower their sugar intake for a couple of days. So it's a good tool to have even if it's ridiculous. :-)

I'll def let you guys know if she wins. Right now she's lagging. I wish I knew how to easily get her something like a couple hundred votes to lock her. Any ideas?
-
This is so great. It's a local competition so it's not like your votes are wasted on something nation-wide that nobody you ever know wins. I appreciate this so much. :-)
-
You guys are awesome. :-D

IMO (which will be bashed, I'm sure) in order to be thin and toned and have low body fat you would either have to malnourish yourself OR put a ton of stress on your body to burn the cals off. Ever known any body builders? The ones that do it in a healthy way are far and few. They carb deplete to the point of near-insanity…

Yeah. I'm probably just going to eat it on "cheat" holidays (Memorial Day was one, Fourth of July and Labor day will be the other two) and any leftovers will be cut in half and eaten plain with lower cal sides. I just wanted to know if going through the bother of boiling would be worth it. :-)

Dear lord I cannot even IMAGINE the Charlie Horses I'd get if I dreamed to ice down my calves! I get them if my bath water is a bit cold! :-D

30 minutes of shadow boxing in a squat position.

Jillian is annoying. I only put up with her for thirty days because I'm insane. X-)

You are too hardcore for me. :-D

1. Are there any "natural diuretics" (Google them) that you've recently added as a staple to your diet? 2. Started any new workout routines that beat the heck out of your core? I don't think I need to explain the diuretic explanation. Core workouts...if you're doing anything to build core muscles, you are aggravating the…

Because most of the ailments associated with obesity don't kill us until after child bearing years leaving it very much a part of the gene pool.

Are chest straps sold separately, or is this one of those things where if it's not sold with a strap then it's technically a strapless and therefore garbage? :-/

Burn first, clean up later. If you have a bunch of baby fat it doesn't matter *how* hard you train those hips. You may build muscle, but it will be hidden under the fat. That said, if your knees can handle it, lunges and stairs all the way.
-
You won't have the "hardcore ripped" look, but if your balance isn't good machines will likely prevent you from seriously injuring something (and *permanently* keeping you from having the ripped look). Think about the long-term on this one.

Sometimes I give myself a week or two to maintain so I don't get all stressed out about an inevitable plateau.

Thanks guys. I'm really surprised that nobody has actually cataloged this specific information into a spreadsheet. It seems that someone would know the one grain that has the least cals. Or the one grain highest in iron. I guess I've found my next project. And wiggleroom nailed it right on the head. Prepared with water,…

Mine always hovers around 200, but I don't expect that as a norm for most people. :-/

It's a Jillian Michaels three level 30 day circuit training program. You do L1 for ten days, L2 for ten and then L3 for ten. The circuit training in the video is customized to take you from out of shape on day one to strong and fairly toned (depending on how overweight you may be to begin with). Each level is about 20…

I know, right?! L1 and L2 both had a "I Want To Kill Myself" final circuit ab exercise. L3's was relaxing (ok, I was following Anita, but still...). I wound up stepping it up with what Anita was doing (because I don't have the strength to follow Natalie for that move) by lifting my top leg along with raising my hips off…

I know I was praising all the summer exercise I can get, but after seeing it rain for about 90% of the last two weeks I thought I'd err on the side of caution and get JM's No More Trouble Zones and Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism which appear to be longer videos of circuit that's a lot like The Shred. It's always good to have…
