Playdoh and sherbear package says the servings vary. So even though I know the total weight I cant say how many servings it supposed to be. Timothy I understand what you are saying but... (incoming hypothetical numbers). If a chicken leg weighs 4 oz's and after you eat it, the leftover bone is 1 oz and its 150 calories per…

I am in. got some regression to deal with . :D

Currently it tracks your steps. It will give you calories burned but it is not related to your heart rate at all and I find it very inaccurate. You can track your food on the fitbit website or link it to your MyFitnesspal account so that you can see the difference between calorie intake and calorie burned. Personally all I…

OP, I started at 297 and my weight loss was between 8 and 10 lbs monthly. You are going to have weeks and months where this is higher and then other times when it seems to crawl. Learn to recognize this now and say to yourself. ANY loss is a success. You will learn as you go and get better / more consistent which will help…

I workout anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour a day 5 or 6 days a week. When on the treadmill for an hour yesterday I burned 882 calories. (As measured by my HRM)

This is easy to resolve. .... When Grandma walks out the door throw out the trash. You can try a conversation first but if that dosent work then rather getting into a fight over just trash it. Why feel bad about it? Your family and food you don't want around. Just make sure she is aware and that will curb it. My Mother in…

No one ever would take food from me....... :noway: Yeah I get the " so what don't you eat now?" stuff all the time. I love the confused looks when I say nothing is off limits.

In February I started at 297. This morning I was only 4.5 lbs away from Onderland. :drinker:

Exercise how much do I need? http://www.choosemyplate.gov/physical-activity/amount.html From a weight loss perspective you could probably lose just in diet alone but then you would be missing out on the benefits of exercise. I do anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour of "vigorous" exercise just about every day.

Tannun, God bless you! I wish you the best of luck in your chosen path. Hang tough and remember that you have everything you need in your heart to accomplish this goal!

Personally I would only do what I feel up to. There are times when your body just needs rest. Only you can truly determine that for yourself. I actually missed out on being sick this year (so far). If I were a little under the weather I might work out lightly. If I were as sick as you are describing I would probably be in…

The amount of calories that you burn are going to be more dependant on how hard you work AND how long. Saying that everyone will burn 500 calories in one hour for this exercise would be a guess at best. For most things I use a heart rate monitor to determine how much I have burned. The higher my heartrate average the more…

Bodyfat measurements on a scale can fluctuate widely based on your hydration. Much like your scale can fluctuate based on water weight. So the only useful part would be to see what it is doing over time and not so much what it say you are at that exact moment. My scale does measure to the nears 10th and I do like that.…

Do you already have one of these? If you find yourself having any issues you may want to go ahead and get it. Quite instrumental in my success. Heck yeah!!

I have both small goals and large. When I started I needed to lose 147 lbs. I am now 1/2 way there. If I think about it too much another 72 lbs seems a great distance to go.. and it is, but I look at the small 10lbs as a victory. So my upcoming goals are at 220 (10 lbs loss). At 209 I move from Obese to overweight, 199 in…

how tall are you? I have already lost 70 lbs and am at what your starting weight was. My goal is 150 so It looks like I will be in that ball park. Oh and AWESOME job! :drinker:

1. You will need to adjust to your new schedule. 2. I would guess that your new job is substantially more physical and this could allow you to eat more calories. 3. Set an eating schedule that works for you. 4. Stay hydrated! Can't stress this enough for the type of work that I suspect you will be doing now.

On most all treadmill's you can adjust the tension on the belt to prevent slipping. You should be able to find information on how to do this for the tread climber also. OP - I would prefer the treadmill. You can set an incline for your tread mill which will help you burn additional calories.

Yes brisk walking will get you started. When I first started I could barely maintain a 3mph pace. Now that's the lowest pace that I use. Set small goals for yourself and make small changes. Make sure whatever you do its something that you can maintain. On pain. Soreness is ok. Sharp pains or the kind of pain that makes it…

Weight loss may not have slowed down. I think one of the things that can be over looked is % weight loss. When I weighed 297 a 2lb weight loss would have been .7% of my total weight. Now that I am 239 it would be .84%. Just something to keep in perspective. I set a 1 year plan in place to lose 137 lbs. That is 2.62 lbs a…
