just had it - DISGUSTING.

My nutritionist who is monitoring my diet AND MFP say I don't get enough protein in my diet.
-
thanks for the useful info. I can't get enough protein from my food so I have to do this. I will have a look online. Trying the H&B one today as I am working out tonight.
-
I don't sorry, but I would LOVE to do this, done it (in a fashion) before. Can you get DVDs then, you don't have to go to class for this one?

probably tmi but way too heavy and messy even with a tampon. Sorry :( At least when fully clothed I can wear a pad as well. :noway: :blushing:

I have a personal trainer, I try to do everything he suggests except for one thing - which is eat protein after my gym visit - the reason I don't is that I can't physically eat after an evening gym session. I would be sick. I can manage about 5 almonds or 3 brazil nuts and that is it. All I do afterwards is have a shower…

I WISH I could walk to work but I work too far away and I have to be home quick at the end of the day. I do go to the gym about 4 times a week and walk on weekends. Also going to take up running soon.
-
I do. I do every type of exercise except for water exercise so I have to miss aqua zumba (boohoo) and if its a particularly bad one (which I am prone to) I can miss 2 weeks of aqua zumba  My other workouts make me feel great whatever day of the month it is :)

I log all the food I know I am going to eat at the start of the day, exercise too. If I am not quite sure, I add it later on. I just like to have a bit of an idea how the day will go before it goes :D

My coach runs in trainers and these string sandal things, he only rarely runs completely barefoot. I hope to get some clearance shoes too, good quality but last seasons is just fine.
-
I think it means sugar present naturally in the food - as opposed to added sugar in processed food. Not that it still isn't naturally sourced EDIT: In answer to the question - the other way round lol
-
I will speak with the coach I think but I know, after paying him plus my gym fees, I won't be able to afford very expensive trainers. I don't want to run competitively either, just for fun, and I might do some 5k runs for charity or something.

try walking, gradually increasing your pace and distance. Also swimming is good exercise but also gentle on you.

I have done bodypump since #74 (whatever year that was - anyone know??) and I have a strong, toned body. I used to do it 3x per week but now I have included bodybalance, yoga and kettlebells into my routine and bodypump has gone down to 1x or 2x per week max. Still maintaining a good shape and strength though :) Highly…

That's up to you. I would not be judgemental of a person's workout but if their conversation was annoying and distracting, then yes I would judge them on it - including the fact they might as well be elsewhere exercising their vocal chords.
-
haha is that a UK gym?
-
In the gym talking and texting rather than working out properly. It was sort of rhetorical.
-
If you input your current weight, MFP should set you a calorie goal for maintenance. Sorry, didn't read the post correctly. Yeah up your intake a bit at a time, eat more smaller meals rather than stuffing your face with big meals.
-
What's against the law? Judging? Or listening to someone's conversation?
-
you have every right to judge. First of all why were they in the gym in the first place? Just so they could say 'I'm working out' - well wow amazing!!! Secondly it ruined the ambience of your workout. Our gym doesn't allow mobiles in the gym thank goodness. Complain to reception and see if you can get policy changed (or…

What about almond butter on a couple of slices of Ryvita?
-
I don't know why we would have a 'quick add'.... either you eat it or you don't. Can someone explain to me why we have it?
-
I am a vegEtarian and I don't have to answer or explain myself to anybody else. If you want to be a vegEtarian be one. If you don't then don't be one. End of.

The Personal Trainers through my gym are all nutrition trained up to level 3, but PT trained up to 2 or 3.

I find it very difficult to eat after, mainly because my workouts are in the evening and by the time I get showered and home I am ready for bed! I just grab a handful of nuts (about 5 almonds or 3 brazils normally) and a glass of water and that's me. I know its wrong but I just can't eat before bed.
-
Nothing! Because I have got a balanced eating plan and allow things in moderation I could never give up anything completely apart from the rubbish I already gave up (processed biscuits, cakes, sweets etc). I allow myself a teensy bit of chocolate each day.

same here. If its deleted, why not our posts too? SPOOOOOOKY!

If you really need to add sugar to tea or coffee I have a trick you can use to wean yourself off. If you take 2 spoons of sugar, start by having 1 3/4 spoons for a week. The following week 1 and 1/2 spoons. Then 1 and 1/4. Each week cut it down until you are on 1/4 spoon of sugar. You will be on that last 1/4 spoon for a…

I add my exercise first, and any foods I know I will eat. Later in the day I add extras. It helps me with my planning.
