You`re 19 years old and active. My suggestion is, print what you said out and laminate it for safe keeping. But also, record you weight and measurements along with it. Then measure weight and compare every 10 years. It will be lots of fun!

As a noob, use the machines. Its easier for a new person to stay in control, and learn to develop form. Most importantly, have fun with it and learn how to lift at the gym, not on the internet.

Work on building muscle "lifting" and get your diet right (lower carbs, especially last meal of the day) and the fat will slowly go away. And yes, it`s that simple, unless you over think and complicate it. But I don`t see you making many muscular gains lifting 2 to 3 days a week.

Good for you, gym`s are full of great people. Years back, gym`s were also a TRUE social place. Sadly now, the majority walk around looking at the floor with ear buds in. Go to the gym, put in your ear buds and get on a treadmill or elliptical. Put your blinders on and ignore everything around you. Focus on your movement and what your listening to, and nothing else. And repeat this method until you become comfortable. And then slowly expand your areas. Best of luck....

Yeap, I agree.. A few more drinks and the % climbs. Ok, all jokes aside. So what IF, he slipped you a little extra in that "free drink" then next thing you know (if your lucky) you wake up raped and tossed in a ditch naked. But nothing like that has ever happened has it.
