Personally, if I don't eat real foods, I get really b***chy and feel like crap A much better idea is to visit farmers markets/neighbors' gardens and eat all the fresh veggies that are available. Throw in some chicken and you have a great stirfry for very little cost.

Finished the Hunger Games books, finished the Grey trilogy, now am reading The Lucky One. Have a couple of books about Alzheimers/dementia in the stack that I need to check out I read from many different authors - I do the "free" books on my Kindle And I HIGHLY recommend The Sisters by Nancy Jensen

I use spinach every time I make a smoothie, kale if I have it. I LOVE cucumbers, but cannot make myself enjoy them in my smoothie, for some reason. Guess I will stick with just eating them raw

I am in week four of a couch to 5k type program. The first week I sent an email to my exercise coach because my legs were killing me. She told me to freeze water in paper cups and when I finished, roll the frozen cups up and down my legs until they were practically numb. In week four I don't notice any pain at all. Add me…

Didn't get on the scales, but I have gained. And now my knee is a little screwy, so may be hampered just a bit in working out. It will all be okay

thanks for the encouragement. Not sure yet how I am going to accomplish it, other than just sucking it up and being a bit more strict about food choices than I have been at times (and increase my exercise). We shall see!

I asked my doctor for a water pill. I ONLY take 1-2 per month and only when I absolutely need it. It has helped tremendously during TOM

I am a bread addict. I could literally eat bread all day long - However, I do see that I have more success in weightloss when I limit my bread/carb intake. Am I going to cut it out, no, but now I try to have (in my mind) "breadless monday" (or another day of the week) depending on my frame of mind that week
