I am concerned about getting any leaner since any lighter than 130 and I start to have trouble keeping body temp in sub-0F temps. Alpine mornings can be a *kitten* for hypothermia for me.

You can work off the calories if you go backpacking. 4.5 months of backpacking eating 5000 calories a day. Hiking 27-32 miles a day on rocky terrain. I lost 30lb and looked emaciated by the end.

I have EDS and my doctor essentially told me "you're best shot for a healthy life is to get as light and as strong as possible. Do that however you want"

Possible? absolutely. Healthy? not a chance, you will be missing out on lots of vitamins and nutrients and to be perfectly honest, you will be cold as all hell because its winter outside. Homeothermy is an interesting thing.

Yes actually, because your glycogen levels are nill when your losing, you gain that back in water when you eat normally. That is my opinion at least and I take it from experience. Not everyone will agree.

Been there done that! about 20 times. What you need to do is lower your carb intake and work out. If you do nothing you will gain back about 7-14 pounds from your lowest weight and you will level out. I swear, been there tons of times. If your really concerned, talk to a doctor.

Not exactly the best way to put things and not fully accurate either, if eating disorders are cought in young childhood they can recover and never have another problem. Anorexia isn't terminal cancer and negativity is never the way to go.

Thank you all for your advice. I have a complicated relationship with life really. I think low carb is really the way to go honestly, I have a family history of diabetes, stroke, among other things. All the research points to a diet rich in vegetables and fruits and less on the bready side.

I have talked to my doctor about dieting, the absolute lowest weight i can have is 122 pounds, I am 5'8" Low sugar diets are ideal for my body because my enamel is messed up as hell. I just have trouble doing any kind of diet without making it extreme, the alchoholic example is pretty accurate, I am going to try my best.

I stopped eating dinner and it fixed my supper issues. Not the healthiest option but i always binge at night, always.

Your still overweight, give it a few months, wait till you dip into the underweight range and one meal sends you into shark mode and you find it nearly impossible not to eat even when your full because your body is deprived of vitamins and minerals. Trust me :) I got the experiance to back it.

Darlin. All that aside, it doesnt matter if your fat or thin or missing an arm, you deserve to love yourself and your body :) Its the only one you have and no one has a perfect one. Ps. Back when i was dealing with bulimia i found that taking laxatives caused me to retain water and weight, not the other way around.

What triggered my binge i think was stress from my boyfriend and my cat being sick. Which i know sounds dumb. I am 5'8" and 117 and my thighs carry most of my weight still, granted they are toned and thick. I think its just genetics and there is no beating it.

"STARVATION MODE" Also I swore off just one food and thats candy corn XD only because i cannot control myself around it. I don't brag about it though :P
