Whoops - meant to say that last one has my breakfast of cottage cheese, lunch of mixture of potatoes and shrimp (prawns) which is a strange combination but all of the tired and lazy tonight, and red grapes for a snack. It didn't quite end up fitting together how I packed it initially (in the photo) because the grapes were…

New bento box! Saw this adorable thing in our local Asian market and had to have it!

Hey! When you go to order one, it says you get one large container, two small ones, the case, and chopsticks. Then it says: *Additional Container Sets sold separately (and you have to buy them as a full set, you can't just buy one medium container or something) *Magnetic Cutlery sold separately Honey, if I'm not getting…

    But yeah, for $70....I don't know about that. I'd love one, but das expensive.

We weren't really doing anything super special for Easter but I may have to make this. Yum. Fruit tarts with pastry cream are my favorite dessert, I've recently realized. You people are always giving me bad ideas - mac and cheese, desserts, new entrees to try....
-
Yum!! All your guy's dinners sound amazing! We had "Whatever I can find in the fridge" breakfast burritos. This time they consisted of eggs, ground beef, black beans, corn, mushrooms, and red onions with salsa on top. Yummy.

You do what you gotta do for Halo Top....

I didn't realize there was any *kitten* in bananas. No more bananas for me!

Let me preface this by saying I agree with the majority that yes, I think if it becomes a health issue than your SO should be able to bring it up gently and out of love. Chances are you already know it though. I agree with @Ironandwine69 though that sex, at least for me, is 99% mental. I've seen my husband at his heaviest…

A guy I only vaguely knew (met maybe once or so) wanted to go see a movie and then brought his cousin on the date with him. On top of that, he then proceeded to throw a baby fit when I had my brother come in with me into the movie theater as well just to be safe (alone with two guys I don't really know? No thanks). Said…

I second this idea - there is an awesome thread on here about bento boxes if you need ideas. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10043413/using-bento-boxes-for-lunches#latest

My favorites are the Lindt chocolate bars, I actually prefer it over Godiva or Ghiradelli (although those are good too). Mm....now I want one.

Well, it's not strictly a bento, but: Southwestern style salad of butter lettuce, spinach, cabbage mix, chopped red onion, corn, black beans, and grilled chicken with salsa and some ranch to go on it - 496 calories. A mess of kiwi (180 g) for a snack: 110 calories. Not pictured: my breakfast of cottage cheese (226 g): 180…

:yum: :yum: This sounds so good!! Thank you so much for sharing!! I've been looking for a good mac and cheese recipe but I hadn't found any really good ones, I'm so excited now! I'm pretty sure hubby and I are having mac and cheese all weekend now.
-
YUM. :drools: Thank you so much!! I need to go to the grocery store and soon!
-
If it comes out under 1000 calories a serving, I'd love your recipe as well if you are willing to share, I'm sure it's wonderful and I'm a mac and cheese addict.
-
Willing to share the recipe?
-
Dang it, now I really want some mac and cheese. :disappointed: Glad you enjoyed the cake!! And apples with any kind of nut butter, yummm. Now I also want that. I may just be hungry.

I didn't break up with him because we never dated but I did refuse a guy once who was 5'2" on a good day. I'm 5'10". Dude was at eye level with my boobs at all times, it was just way too awkward for me. I also quit seeing a guy because he could not make a decision. Ever. About anything. Please, have an opinion about…

*applauds* Very well put. I was going to write something similar but then I saw that you had this covered way better than I would have done.

I want to eat that. Right now.

Yeah, @Verity1111 will have to approve you guys before it "officially" lets you in the group but she's really good about accepting people in pretty quickly. Then you can join all the random conversations in there too. :smirk:

So, since I forgot to defrost the meat for what I was GOING to cook tonight, I'm thinking chicken nachos for dinner. Because yum.
-
I actually did buy them but have yet to make any - I really need to do that this weekend. I'll try them and report back (even though I trust @Chef_Barbell completely).

I literally could have written this entire paragraph myself. Only instead of frozen dinners, we got boxed mac and cheese and hot dogs. I had to learn to cook very young to survive. I'm still not crazy about hot dogs. A good homemade macaroni and cheese though, that's still worth the occasional calorie splurge.

I second this advice as someone who also has fibro (and I know several others on here that have it also) - do as much gentle exercise as you can and that will definitely help. I can always tell when I need to get out more because my fibro will be worse but if I get in a walk, even if it's slow, it gets a little better. If…

That's what I do too.
