5.5 and a half here (168 cm) 129 lbs / 58.5 kg (goal is 121 / 55kg) 35-25-37 pear shape! hope to get to 34-25-35

Me too! currently waist 25 hips 37 (dont know chest at the mo, but it doesnt rlly change, was 33 when I was at my goal weight before, with 24 waist and 36 hips). The problem I have as well is that the fat gets stored on my lower body only (pretty much). So while I can still fit in all my tops, I can't fit any of my…

nope, vitamin A is one of the ones where it is not safe to take too much.

I would LOVE to work 9-5! I would have so much more time lol. Not meaning to be mean, but I understand about being tired and not having time because I work 6am-6pm. I have to go to bed at the same time as my 7 year old haha. To kill two birds with one stone, I cycle the 8 miles into work and back every day (35 mins each…

I totally relate. I try not to think about it too much or punish myself bc then the temptation to overeat is worse the next time. And I don't want to get unhealthily obsessed with eating, although sometimes I feel MFP doesn't help in that way.

true, also when I was 120-125lbs I fit in a US zero - lots of muscle - look at my bikini pic on my profile (I do not look massive or 'built' either)

I totally sympathise with not having time to exercise - I work from 6am to 6pm and I have a 7yr old to look after. Is there any way you could incorporate a workout in your journey to work? For example, I cycle to work and back every day. This is using time that would otherwise be spend sitting on the train. If I did not do…

I agree that it depends how you are built. My lowest weight (at 5'6") was 114 pounds and I really looked ill (esp in the face), although some people my height look good at that or less. I am happy to fluctuate between 120-125, which is my goal. Good luck! Ps. I sympathise with the boob issue, although mine was the…

Agree. I cycle to and from work every day which is a 40min each way and total is 350cals ish each way = about 700 for the day burnt. I wore a heart rate monitor the first few times to measure it. Although now I am fitter I should probably wear it again as the calories will be less.

This is me at 120 lbs (55kg) - I maintained this weight for years (even after pregnancy) until autuumn 2010, when I put on 20lbs in 3 months! I have now lost 5 of them... but here's to looking like this again very soon!

I wanted to add.. if you stick to MFP set caloreies religiously you should be ok in my opinion it is the overeating that you dont notice that is the culprit
-
sadly I did put on weight! I had to LEARN not to replace cigs with food which took a long time! Good luck!

Pretty much none. I found out I lose weight way faster and I don't miss it. I eat wraps, pasta or potatoes instead.

Hi I'm an investment banker and my daughter is nearly 7, still feel guilty! It does get a bit easier though! Feel free to add me!

Hi and welcome! Feel free to add me. I'm from London and trying to lose 20lbs :)

Your mum probably feels ashamed that she couldn't lose weight just through diet and exercise and the fact that you *have* been able to do that probably makes her feel worse about herself, so she is taking it out on you but being b*tchy? I would talk to her and say you are both in different situations and just say firmly…

I hate that. I don't look 'fat', I look 'average' (maybe 'stocky') so people think I 'don't need' to lose weight.. I'm like: "people you have no idea how hot I used to be STFU!!!" 2 dress sizes can actually not look like a lot, but it sure does weigh quite a lot! (10kg or 20lbs in my case)

So amazing.. you should be so proud of yourself! Well done!

Thanks to everyone who replied.. I guess it is getting over the instant gratification temptation of eating loads of chocolate. I am going to try and fill myself up with healthy food first and then try sweet yoghurt instead.. I think I have a self-control problem with biscuits and chocolate so I'm going to try and avoid…

Don't allow yourself any cheat days, exercise every single day, if you have to have cake or wine at a dinner or something just have a very small piece (like 1 bite's worth) or half a glass and savour it. I find cakes and sweets very difficult to eat in moderation so I try to avoid them completely. Once I have a bit, I'm…

They are terribly inaccurate. Mine said 18% one day and 26% the next! Ballpark is the best you'll get, I dunno, my bf always gets 5-7% reading when he uses them.

Mine is 1200 for 1lb a week. I find it really hard to stay under if I don't exercise. But it is hard to fit a workout in *every* day. I always eat back all my exercise calories because I am always SO hungry after exercise. But I might start trying to not eat ALL of them back as I'm a bit fed up with the slow progress. My…
