  • The only thing I saw on this entire thread was bacon.
  • I like tight pants.
  • When I wear my heartrate monitor it tells me I only burn 150-180 calories. I was SO bummed!!! Hope yours is more than that!
  • 518 calories for 30 minutes of running seems like a lot. I wear a heartrate monitor and am on the treadmill for an hour; 55 minutes of that is straight running and I usually burn anywhere from 560-650 calories. Everyone is different though so maybe you did burn that much. Hard to say if you don't have something monitoring…
  • I  PB2! I use it in my oatmeal & protein shakes.
  • 22nd birthday...I partied like it was my 21st. I was alternating shots of Goldschlager and Jägermeister...it did me in. Just typing it out is making my stomach churn...GAG! I think the Goldschlager was the most evil that night. So much so that ANY liquor that smells like cinnamon makes me want to vomit immediately!
  • ^^^^^THIS! Is great advice. Good luck!
  • This is my 3rd time on this site. Or maybe the 4th?? Who knows! The point is I too have tried this several times. Fortunately this time for me it is finally sticking. I stopped looking at this as a "diet" and started looking at it as a lifestyle change. And just like everything else in life, I am going to have slip-ups.…
  • Turkey Burgers. No clue what we're having with it yet.
  • ^^^^ THIS!!! Sometimes even if I AM still hungry, I say I'm too full to eat dessert. It keeps me from being temped. Or cut your own piece of cake so that you get exactly what you want...a small piece.
  • Every other day here too. And sometimes on the days in between I'll just use conditioner...but I have very dry hair as it is.
  • Buy a Jillian Michaels DVD...30 Day Shred or Ripped in 30 are good ones. And just do it every day. The workouts are only about 25-30 minutes long but they work!
  • I had a complete stranger tell me last night at McDonalds that the salad I was eating had the most calories of anything else on the menu. I wanted to strangle that b!tch. Had my 7-year old not been sitting right there I may have. She was full of *kitten*, I'm pretty sure my Grilled Southwest Chicken Salad with NO dressing…
  • I would still do additional cardio. I did the 30DS every morning and still went to the gym 3-4 days a week to run. I never logged my 30DS. I wore my HRM the first time I did it and my calorie burn was only 180. I mainly did it for the strength training.
  • I didn't do so well on the standard 1200 calorie limit that MFP gave me. I bumped mine up after just a couple of weeks at 1200. I just couldn't do it...I was STARVING all the time. And like you, when I splurged, I went WAAAAAY overboard. So I raised mine to 1550 and haven't had many slip-ups since. I say up your calorie…
  • I  this site. It lets you preview the videos before buying. Win/win!
  • Second this! I L-O-V-E, love this site!!! Lots of yummy sweet recipes!
  • Personally I don't care for Jillian too much but the 30 Day Shred and Ripped in 30 are both good. I don't find her boring so much as annoying. But I muddle through it because she does get results and the videos are relatively short so and I can fit them in before work in the mornings. If you're worried about not liking a…
  • OMG me too!!! Just came off 30DS myself...I haven't measured yet to see how many inches I lost...I plan to do that tonight or tomorrow morning but I did take pics and I can DEF see a difference in my waist and arms. I'm sure I'll feel some soreness when I wake up tomorrow morning from starting Ripped in 30 today. Funny…
  • Never tried baked oatmeal...sounds delicious!
  • This sounds delicious!
  • I have one more day of Level 3 and I am DONE! Then I am starting Ripped in 30 on Monday. For 30DS, I did 10 days for each level which included weekends so no rest days. I suffered through it but I think I need a break so when I start Ripped in 30 I am giving myself the weekends off. It'll take me longer to get through it…
  • www.pinterest.com A lot of people keep their craft and recipe ideas organized there. Be warned though...when you get sucked in you could be sitting in front of the computer screen for hours!
  • I completely agree! Any true friend of mine would never post something about trying some new weight loss product on my facebook wall. Its just plain rude...whether I am trying to lose weight or not. SHE should have pm'd you if she wanted to tell you about it. So no, you were not mean in your reply and in fact way nicer…
  • Those look delicious!!
  • I've had people say "how can you measure everything out like that?" to me and I just shrug it off and reply with something like "its not that hard" or "you mean use my measuring cup as a spoon to dip the beans out of the pot?...yeah real hard". And I think sometimes its not so much sabatoge as it is admiration or jealousy.…
  • Interesting...DEF going to check it out. I waste quite a bit of time on youtube...I suppose I could start using it more productively and get a workout in before the other videos suck me in.
  • Blue Bunny Big Fudge Bars...they're HUGE and only 90 calories!
  • Its not so much the fact that you used the asterisks as the amount of times you used them. And we get it. We had it the first time you mentioned your situation (which I do sympathize with BTW) so there was no need to continue to emphasize your point. And to me, yes you did come across as "high and mighty"...just my opinion…
