Hi. I'm in for the May challenge. I am having problems with my right kidney and will be going back in to have another procedure so I'm just going to take it as it comes and hope for a pound per week until I am on my feet :) Starting weight: 230.8lbs Goal for June 1st: 226.8lbs, or 4lbs

April 29th : 228.6lbs I will use this as my final weigh in. I made my goal of 229lbs so I am very happy. I think being sick a kidney infection had a lot to do with it, but I will take it!!! I lost 8.4lbs during the month of April

Hi. I also have fibro. I'm so surprised that there are so many of us. A lot of people have never heard of fibro before so I'm excited to be able to connect with others that also have it. I find it helpful to get at least 9 hours of sleep per night and stay as active as I can otherwise my muscles lock up. Feel free to add…

That's wonderful!!! I'm so happy for you :) Sometimes I think its the NSVs that count more then the scale. Although I'm still obsessed with the scale!

Hi. I have been eating yogurt with Kashi Go Lean Crunch! in it to give it added texture and to add fiber to my diet. I also eat cereal that is high in fiber and use 1% low fat milk. I hope this helps :)

Hi. I have fibromyalgia and I was thinking about doing a post like this so I am sooo happy to see your post. I was diagnosed with fibro when I was about 12 or 13 yrs old. I would love to talk to you and everyone else who is also dealing with the same challenges. I am sending you a friend request. Penny:flowerforyou:

I only count pure water as well. I read somewhere that the 8 glasses of water per day is straight water, not juice. I think if you were to squeeze in some fresh lemon or lime that would count. Its just the added sugars and stuff like that that don't count.

I log all mine under light-moderate but I think if you break a sweat that the vigerous cleaning might apply to some of your cleaning time. Maybe split up your total time cleaning and put some under light-moderate and the some under vigerous. You should definately take credit for your hard work :) That doesn't mean that you…

I haven't increased my calories at all but I was very surprised when MFP said I should only be consuming 1490/day as well. I had done the calculation to see how many calories my body needs to maintain my starting weight and it was just over 4000 calories so to cut this drastically seems like it might throw off the body. I…

I also set my level at sedentary. I stay home with my two boys (ages 2 and 1 yr) and I didn't want to over estimate my calories burned. I also do daycare for typically 3 other yound children during the day so its hard to say what I actually burn. I have been counting light housework like laundry, dishes, and vacuuming for…

Hmmm, maybe too much sodium so that you are retaining water? Or maybe eating too late at night? I'm not sure what the reason is, there are so many variables. Since you have been making better choices then you must be doing good for your body- you just cant see it on the scale yet. Keep your chin up and hang in there. There…

I have had two children, my first was a natural birth about 2 1/2 yrs ago and my second child was a c-section 15 months ago. I cant believe the difference between the two births on the impact of my stomache. The c-section totally made my lower stomache sag! I have recently started doing crunches and laying on my back and…

Hi. I'm new on here and I really would like to be a part of a support group. I'm a stay at home mom of two boys and I also run an in-home daycare. Good luck to you and hopefully we can keep eachother motivated :) I'm not sure how to add friends so if you could add me (if you want) and hopefully I will figure it out in the…
