Definitely PiYo, I don't even own this myself, but the muscles it works and stretches will enhance and benefit your running. Zumba is fun, but it won't effect you the way PiYo will!

I did the couch 2 5k 5 years ago and haven't stop running since. I've completed numerous 5ks and 10ks, 2 sprint tris, 1 marathon, and currently training for half marathon #9. :) Don't give up, running is now my easy exercise...the one that relaxes me and makes me happy. The one I always turn to when I don't want to do…

touchdown Jesus burned down LOL up here in Dayton, for a frew more months anyway :)
-
I have run 5 half marathons and one full. I never ran more than 3 days a week (one short and sweet, one speed training, and one slow long distance). Insanity is hardcore it will more than make up for not running more. Make sure you take rest days and do A LOT of stretching :) Good luck!

DL: 155 (I think I was 170, though) CW: 137

I am 5'3" , started around 180 (highest pregnancy weight was 225) and I am now 136 :) Golfing then: Golfing now: The day my son was born: 6 years later:

Yup, I've been doing a TurboFire and ChaLean Extreme Hybrid...so cardio practically every day, and weights 3 days :)
-
must be the new scale...down 1.3 this week! And lost 1" around the thickest part of my thighs for the month :) Wohoo!
-
Congrats on reaching a quick first goal already Mumof2! My scale broke yesterday, bought a new one, so I will weigh-in and measure tomorrow! Sorry for the delay :)
-
I halve them, coat with olive oil, salt and pepper, grill or roast 'em then sprinkle with feta or parmesan cheese. I like the burnt ones the best

I'm probably the odd one here, but I actually think the dreadmill is harder. I can't control my breathing and natural running form on it, AND it's boring. I run much faster and enjoy it much more outdoors. Not sure what my deal is! Running on a 1-2% incline is a must though if you have to use it :)
-
Wow!! Huge difference in your thighs!! Great job!
-
thanks, I got my new puter though! :)
-
I didn't lose this week, but I had a little more fun with food this weekend ;) I'll update the spreadsheet when I get my new replacement computer :-)
-
Can you believe we are 2 weeks into this?!?! I'm down another 2lbs this week! I ate an entire head of cauliflower and a bunch of broccoli by myself last week LOL Veggies rule :)
-
I'm following the original plan in the booklet. I wanted to do Janelle's, but I figure I do a lot of extra stuff on the side (running, circuit class, etc) so I should still see good results....I also joined a friends challenge group so I feel like I gotta follow the real plan LOL

Monica ~ It is your own challenge. How much you want to lose by June, plus some other measurement (body fat, waist, inches, etc) Go to this link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AjEvl4AWDR-bdDhNR29uaWdicnRrRVFTZ1pTdnhwb3c and input your info. Then update ever Tuesday for weight, and once a month for your other…

So happy! I am down 4.5lbs in the first week doing Turbo Fire's Inferno plan :) Off to the next 10 pounds...which will be slower because I will be eating more. Those 5 days I wasn't hungry, but it definitely wasn't enough food for the amount of work I was doing. Good jump start though!

There are only 3 kids, and no they will not do weigh-ins. But there are still the regular contestants that will

Dayton area, for now anyway :)

It's not exactly healthy, but they use fresh/organic/local produce and it's amazing: Olive, an urban dive. You must go! I'm not from OH (military) and I really really don't understand the Marion's craze. It's expensive, and not that great. I'd much rather have Jet's or Spinoza's (Fairfield Mall). Love Jeni's Ice Cream in…
-
even better :) now off to check out what an ice cream maker is...holy balls! thanks again for the info!
-
wow! Very impressed with your results and you did not lift heavy. Congrats! Thanks for the info on how you did it too, so motivational :)

I was tested a few months back for Celiac, don't have it, just Hashi's. Might about doing something like this, but I really enjoy my whole grain/wheat bagel with PB that I've had every morning for the past couple years...I might go through some serious withdrawals ;)
-
never hurts to try! So if you have Hashi's, you are more prone to gluten issues?
-
Thanks for doing this! I've added weight and thighs, decided to see if I can get down to 130 after being comfortable at 137 for a couple years. I really hope it helps shrink my thighs :)
-
I hit the trails, so it was much longer than usual: 68:20 It's all good though, great weather and a fun romp in the mud!
-
Can I join even if my goal is to lose inches and BF, not necessarily weight? :)
-
One way I got my HR to be more stable while running is to belly breathe, google it and try it. :)

I have New Balance Minimus Trails, and I wear them for pretty much everything...I especially love them for run/lift days :) If you go with the NBs order the wide width version. I wear my Saucony Kinvaras for longer runs though as I enjoy the extra cushion from the pavement.
