Its important to see working out as something fun, burning calories is not always about doing marathon sessions at the gym or running miles and miles. If you find an activity you enjoy then you look forward to doing it instead of seeing it as a chore, in which case you will do it more often. Its great you have found an…

Bo can be hormonal. Some people cannot smell it on themselves, its possible that she is not aware of it so maybe speaking with her about the issue will be doing her a favour. I borrowed a jacket off my friend once at a do we were at, after wearing it for around 30 mins the arm pits were stinking of sweat even tho i was not…

Maybe the sodium from the fish and chips has made you retain more water then usual. You should even back out during the week. To Gain 1LB OF FAT you need to eat 3500 calories over your daily calorie amount (excluding eating back exercise calories, these do not count) so when you see a few lb gain over night its usually…

I love my kettle bells, i have 2 at home and i regularly attend classes at my local gym. Since i started with the kettle bell i have lost LOADS of inches. There are some free kettle bell work outs on youtube if memory serves. They are fab for cardio and strength at the same time. I use 10kg in class and have an adjustable…

I think maybe it would be more help to you to log your exercise calories burned as 1 calorie per work out. This makes it easier to keep track of your proper macros and prevents the over estimation of calories burned. Try to hit your set goal for calories (or as close as you can get) and maybe lower cardio a bit and go for…

Your routine looks good, However from my personal experiences i would suggest cardio before weights. I found i was not sore on the same level after i switched them around, tho i still could feel i had worked out. This Will get you nice and warm before you start weight lifting plus if you do weights last you will get more…

I have been full head blonde and had fun, i am naturally a brunette. I am confident i would still have fun if i was baldy so hair colour is irrelevant :)

I don't get the whole starvation mode thing. I average 1000 cals a day through out the week. Eating healthy i find it hard to hit 1200. If this put my body into starvation mode then why would my body not TELL me it wanted more food by feeling hungry? I eat 4 small meals per day, low carb high protien, lean meats, fish,…

I have chocolate rice crispie squares or cadburys chocolate brunch bars, both below 150 cals xx

I feel your pain, i am a few LB off my target i set way back when. Nothing has changed diet wise yet scale is not shifting. So instead of stressing about it i am keeping within my calorie goals and the tape measure is my new friend. I am increasing the weights i lift and gradually shifting my cardio more towards doing…

I do loads of cardio on 1200 cals. You need to build this up gradually, the more you do it the better you will get at it. The main thing that gave me the best results was the c25k programme that coaches you to gradually be able to run 5k at a steady pace. Other thing to try maybe is 30 day shred with short bursts of cardio…

My thing at moment is 1%fat rakutan onion and chive crackers (about 80 cals per 4) or weight watchers crackers with pepper and chilli cottage cheese or any cottage cheese come to think of it. Pineapple or apple and sultana version helps when craving sweet, then plain, onion and chive or chilli and pepper sorts savoury…

You could maybe take the lime light off her and try to inspire her with your success. I dont know what size either of you are but for me personally so many aspects of life have changed for me. Example... Bending down to tie a shoe lace, it was almost impossible for me so maybe instead of directing at her try and highlight…

I have been doing the 30 day squat challenge with either a 10kg or a 15kg kettlebell, except i changed it up and did as many as i could manage. I do sets of 30 at a time as a rule and do anything from 120 a day up to 600 depending on what other exercise i have done that day. Without doubt my thighs do not wobble anymore…

Not huge impact, no weight needed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1UGZQqwHZ4 Denise austin 5 min inner thigh work out

A true lifestyle change would not need all these "cheat days" if your going out for a family meal exercise your *kitten* off and earn the calories before you go! hence.... no cheat day. A usual day where you can complete your diary and still be green on calories.

I got stretch marks from being pregnant ( my tummy is a mass of them) and obv when i piled on the lb everywhere else. I got them all when i was over weight but when they stopped being so stretched the texture of them changed, and the colour. They seemed more noticable to me. I thought you only got stretch marks when you…

I don't ever look to celeb's for inspiration because truth be known i don't really view them as your usual average joe. They pay for chefs to come in and cook meals, they have oodles of money to throw at personal trainers and gym gear, They usually have nannys and cleaners to do day to day jobs. The pictures we see of them…

I don't know you. But i do know your not eating enough!! Long term eating so little will for sure make you ill. I do know if your being treated for your depression by way of meds some of them have side effects that stop hunger. Do you drink a lot of coffee, water or fizzy pop during the day that could hamper your appetite…

I have had immense success on 1200 cals. I do not stick to it rigid all the time... its more a guideline now and it taught me to look at what was in what i ate before i ate it. i aimed for 3x400 cal meals or 4x 300 cal meals on average. I have never felt hungry nor have i deprived myself. I tend to do 500-1000 cals…

The ready meals are fatal. I was stunned when i first started on here and actually looked at what these meals had in them. The weight watchers meals tend to be around 3-500 cals max. The vegetarian meals are also on the lower side providing its not like asda extra special cauliflower cheese (if memory serves that was…

Within the last month i also fit into a size 12 so i went on a splurge and bought several new outfits not expecting to shrink any further but now i think i will soon be in a 10 if not already as they are all getting a bit baggy. So i am thrilled on 1 hand and peeved on the other. However a size 12 was a big big milestone…

Try drinking a whopping glass of water, wait for 30 mins, if your still hungry then maybe grab an apple or a fat free yoghurt. Secret is to try not to focus on hunger because the more you think about it the more hungry you seem to become. Protein.. lots of it, this is the only way i can eat lowish calorie but feel full and…

I have completed c25k. The first week was AWFUL because 1. i thought i was gunna die and 2. i had crap trainers. Before you start get proper running shoes, i cannot express the importance of this as i got shin splints because of my crap ones. When i bought new proper ones at a running shop i have not had shin splints…

Buy yourself a kettle bell, a decent weight. Not ideal if your wanting to go down the "heavy" route but i have a 12kg that i use at home when i cannot get to the gym. lifting 12kg is better then nothing, Still gets your muscles working.
