Some excellent but conflicting advice, I think i will just listen to my body. I feel like i can do more, but i wont push too hard. I am sure if my fitness was not to the point i could run every day then my body would have protested about it by now. Warning to all starting the c25k or other running prog's. RUNNING IS…

I am at the exact same point as you. I can now run 4 miles without feeling like i am going to die. I got the bridge to 10k app and am going to start that this week. When i first started c25k running for 60 seconds make me feel like i was going to puke. I never ever imagined i would be able to do what i can do now. I am…

I don't understand how i can do this then. I started running as a flexible effective form of exercise. I stepped it up because i have hit the dreaded plateux wall. Last time i was at this point i gave up. I am not saying i would run a marathon every day. but 3-4 miles a day can't be too bad can it? Also Shin splints. My…

i also run 5 days a week. sometimes 6 :| is this bad?

The drinks thing is going to take time even food a few hours before running can make me feel sick. I thought building it up gradually would be a better idea. its tuff because i like to run at night and need to stay safe with well lit routes. I will get there eventually. i have just downloaded the C210K so i think i will go…

I can now run 3.5 miles without stopping on a daily basis. The biggest victory is not feeling like me legs are made of cement the next morning when i get up.

My fitness pal is FREE. The support you get when you have the right friends is IMMENSE. MFP wins hands down every time. WW is too full of gimmicks and ways for them to make money out of you. I.E when they change the whole diet plan to pro points and the scales you have or calculators that cost you £20+ and the cookery…

I used to laze on the sofa nd watch tv and pick at whatever food i could lay my hands on. It was a habbit i had to break. So, i went out nd bought an exercise bike. Now when i want to watch tv or read of do anything that involves sitting on my *kitten* i sit on my bike and peddle. It has worked a treat!

There are clear links with smoking and asthma. A friend of mine had severe asthma for 10 years whilst smoking.. When he eventually quit the asthma went poof, just like that. On a long car journey where the driver was chain smoking he had his first asthma attack for 3 years since quitting. Coincidence much?

They also in the UK get paid via our taxes. Banning cigarettes that carry very hefty taxes? That seems a somewhat retarded thing to do without good reason because essentially they are hitting their own pockets?
-
E cigarettes are the way forward. Smokers get nicotine fix they need and can have a ciggy with their meal's or drinks whilst indoors and the people around them do not have to smell or inhale 2nd hand smoke. Plus they are way way cheaper. Any smokers out there should try them. Really tho.. there is no point in this forum…

I am on 1200 cal's too. 59lb down so far so for me.. starvation mode is utter bollox. You work out whats right for you and keep doing it. Ignore the haters. Where there are happy productive people you will always find trolls who have nothing better to do then be keyboard cowboys.

fasting is not an ideal life long habbit, tho i don't see the problem with it if its used as an aid in the short term to shift excess weight. When u hit your goal and need to maintain it then there will be no need for fasting. It makes sense and 600 calories is not really fasting is it. My idea of fasting is nil by mouth…
