I guess my other one is my home made sour cream and onion dip and a bag (or 2) of Ruffles. 16 oz sour cream, 2 packages dry onion soup mix, one cup of finely shredded sharp cheese, some chopped green onions, mix and let firm up overnight in the fridge and i can eat it all the next day - and have - in a prior life.

My weak spot is a really good cheddar cheese and barbeque chips. I could eat a half-pound of cheese and a bag of Lay's in minutes (NOT the baked Lay's - the original ones).

It's like that with a lot of foods, you think you found something good - until you get down to the sodium content.
-
Some folks add stuff like a spoon of sugar-free pudding, they say it helps, I have not tried it yet.

I have almost the same problem: I am at my limit now for protein and sodium, but with that said, I am about 50% UNDER my suggested caloric intake, fat is about 30% under, sugar is also about 50% under my 'limit'.

I have a rule in my house, it's 'if you don't like (whatever it is) then do it yourself'. That applies to cooking, cleaning, painting, chores, anything..

I am a boring introvert..

Let me guess: you're really 44 years old?

You just have to keep your goals in sight when you look at all foods, for me I have to remind myself EVERY TIME i look at ANY food(s). You learn to quickly turn your head and walk away..

You can do ONE - so enjoy it! Depending on the rest of your diet you might be able to do one a day, but would you want to?

Is there ANY 'restaurant' that has mostly good food? Some folks think Panera, but that's a joke, they are like all the others.

A synopsis of what I used to eat is a 'what's what' of bad: Two large pizzas, eight Wendy's singles, a package of hotdogs AND buns AND cheese AND chili, a dozen donuts with a full tub of ready-made frosting, 3/4 of a pound of cheddar, 2 liters of pepsi, 8 brats off the grill, etc (not all at once, obviously!). As was said,…

Well, a month ago I was 407.6, today I am 384.8 and I am not noticing it yet, but I HAVE A LOT TO LOSE, and a long way to go. What I am saying is: I will keep you informed, but loose skin is on my mind as well, but if I have to deal with loose skin as opposed to being morbidly obese, I know which one I'm taking!

Nope. I don't like posing nude FOR MYSELF, that's what got me here, I had not looked in a full-length mirror in probably 5 years, I did 3 weeks ago and got sick to my stomach.

I picked a target weight that was ATTAINABLE. No sense in going for a ridiculous weight from the start and getting discouraged if you did not make it. My case: 3 weeks ago I was 407.6. I am 'supposed to be' around 180. 180's not gonna happen anytime soon, IF EVER. I was 180 when I was 16. So, I aimed for 299 - when I get…

The 7pm curfew is fine - if you go to bed at a normal time, eg 10-11pm, but if you go to bed later, I would guess you could move it back. The next question is, what are you doing between your last food and bedtime? That plays a part too. I too did the 7pm curfew many years ago and it certainly helped. Also, don't keep…

PRE-DIET, I had binges like this: 8 Whoppers with cheese. Other times 2 large Godfather's or Valentino's combo pizzas with extra cheese. And another time 10 Wendy's singles with cheese. This was around 30 years ago. Today, with my current diet, my binge is just a Philly cheesesteak wrap maybe, no pop, no fries one week, a…

I too am under my numbers for everything - but sodium. How are those numbers?
-
That's what I was asking - If folks had some recipes for home made sauce or a reasonable facsimile of. I don't want to get into an elaborate concoction of having to cook or saute' things, just something folks throw together on the fly and go...

Dipping fries into mayo and not ranch dressing?

I'd compare the contents of coffee creamer to those of something else like skim milk. You may not like it but it may be worth looking into.

I'm 6'4" and was 407 a week ago, now I am 398. I am working out a bit 6 days a week at 24hr. I am cutting waay back on food intake - folwoing the charts here, but I have the same issue a lot of folks do - SODIUM! SO now I am trying what to eat in place of processed meats (for lunch), but also, pay attention as to WHEN you…

I'm kinda in the same boat. Divorced at 55 after 16 years, I put on 100 lbs, she didn't, but now she is diabetic. I am losing weight, she is still eating terribly. We never beat on each other over weight, rather, we beat each other up over WHAT we ate - because we both knew better. Oh well, water under the bridge, she met…

What do you mean by you were 'treated badly'? Heck, I am in front of people that eat **** all day long, it doesn't bother me, to each their own. I am in a bar where folks get too drunk to stand up, that doesn't mean I have to drink, too. It is what you make of it, if someone wants to give you a hard time, ***** them, do…
