  • Thank you everyone for all the tips. I do want to focus on distance rather than speed for quite a while longer. Will the Galloway run/walk intervals for longer periods of time work for the long run in the beginning, or should I focus on increasing running time without the walk breaks. I like the simplicity of what's laid…

  • I finished c25k, but am so slow that 30 minutes isn't enough time to finish 5k. I'm almost finished with a timed version of c210k, but am no where near 10 k. I would like to add in 1-2 more days of running and switch one day to just increasing distance/time for my longer run. I'm also trying out run/walk intervals with a…

  • I'm on the second week as well. I still haven't done the cardio workouts, as I was doing c210k on the treadmill. I have the firestarter pack for turbo fire and the older turbo fire. I'm just doing firestarter and the low HIIT 20 for now. I'm hoping that doing firestarter enough times will help me not feel so lost with the…

  • Enell is great. I was 42DDD in regular bras (this was actually too small ). After losing 18 pounds, I'm now 40DDD. I can't get into the sized sports bras, even if it's XL. I have a champion that I wear for circuit training types of workouts, but there's still too much bounce for running to be comfortable.

  • I do mine in the morning and modify if I need too. I've been ready to move on by the time the two weeks are over. I'm not sure about next week though. I previewed 11/12 and hope I can get through them. I would recommend previewing so you know what to expect. I didn't with 9/10 and it was hard to figure out when you're on…

  • I'm using enell and champion right now. I'll need to check out shock absorber next time I need a new sports bra. Enell has been great for running-no more bounce. I use the champion for circuit training. The control isn't quite as good as enell. I'm 40DDD/G
  • I would like to join.
  • I'm going to try for 45.
  • A good sports bra made all the difference for me. I have an enell that I use for running and it stopped the bounce and pain. I couldn't use the cheaper ones as they didn't stop the bounce, even with two. I have something from champion that works pretty well without too much bounce that I can use for circuit training types…
  • I started at 60-70 pounds overweight. I just went slow and was fine. I can do my slow jogging for 30 minutes but don't finish the five km in that time. I've moved on to a 10k app to keep increasing time/distance, and am not worrying about speed yet.
  • I was doing my c25k instead of her cardio for phase 2. I've just started phase 3 and am using my c210k runs instead. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to get through both. I did cardio 2 a couple of times and liked it better than cardio 1. I haven't looked at cardio 3 yet.
  • I finished w8d1 today. It was my first time running (jogging) outside. It was easier than the treadmill and I was actually faster than usual. I switched from my zen labs c25k app to the ClearSky 10k runner. I've been walking extra after each training session, but won't be close to finishing 5k in 30 minutes by the end of…
  • I was lucky to have a good store near me. I have really wide feet and the shoes I ended up with have plenty of room for my toes. I have mild pronation, so shoes with too much support were ruled out. They also showed me how to tie them to eliminate the bit of slipping I had on the heel. I would have been overwhelmed by the…

  • Feel free to add me. I'm 55. I'm doing what I can for exercise and modify what I need to. I have cartilage issues with both knees and disc problems in lower back, so not doing too much in the jumping type of exercises.
  • I finished w7d1 today and it was fine. I'm still slower than most people walk, but I increased the incline for a while and the speed a bit. Once my heart rate started going out of zone on my hrm, I just dropped back a bit again. My new shoes have made all the difference for my knee/shin pain the past few weeks. I was…

  • I'm 55 and trying to lose 50-75 pounds. My calories are also at 1200, and I aim for 1200-1400 depending on my exercise. I've been losing about 1-1.5 pounds a week so far, but I have a long ways to go.
  • Thank you for all of the information!
  • I log breakfast lunch and snacks right after breakfast. Those meals don't change a whole lot and are pretty easy. Dinner I log right after or before I eat and I update water, snacks and exercise as I go. The app on the phone makes it easy as I wouldn't be able to log on from my work computer and after sitting in front of a…
  • I 'run' slower than what I can find in the database so it doesn't work well for me.
  • I'm planning to lose 50-70. I'm hoping to lose 50 by the end of the year. I've lost 11 so far. Feel free to add me.
