I have another black bean brownie recipe to share: http://allrecipes.com//Recipe/black-bean-brownies/Detail.aspx Haven't tried it yet, maybe this weekend!

I had the same starting weight at you and am at about 222 right now. It's very encouraging to see someone who looks like me end up looking as great at you do!! Can't wait! You should be so proud

I'm doing one with my work too! Just started, 3 weeks in and I've lost 11 pounds! It's a 5 months long contest so I've hoping to stay inspired and lose a lot more! Good luck with your journey!

I'm going to my first class tonight! I fear I will look like a flailing idiot but oh well!

I love those moments!! Keep up the good work! They will start happening more and more often and they are still special every single time!

They might have no calories, but what about sugars and sodium? Just be careful with those, I'd suggest you still drink lots of plain ol' water too. It is nice to have some flavor though once in a while =) Maybe try the Crystal Light flavor packets that you add to water. I use those sometimes, they have lots of tasty…

I log as circuit training too. The only way to know for sure, since we all are different, is to get a heart rate monitor. I used the calories burned as a guild line only. It may be more but it may be grossly overestimated.

Do more knee circles haha! maybe try wrapping your knees with sports wrap or something? use a thick mat under your feet? wearing the right shoes?

I drink coffee almost everyday, I have to get up at 4am for work so it's more out of necessity! I have recently given up creamers and sugar from my brew though. The fat, sugar, and empty calories can really add up. Coffee seems to suppress my appetite though, so just make sure you are eating when you should be.

I can now do push ups and sit ups, something I never thought possible. Next goal, pull ups =/ Also, the satisfaction of hearing "wow you look great! You've lost weight!" from someone you haven't seen in a while. Got that last night, man my head got REAL big!
-
I'm sure you didn't gain the 40lbs back over night, you can't expect to lose it overnight either. Just keep logging and working out and the weight will catch up with you. It's a life long change, you just have to stick with it

my mom has used Melaleuca products for years. Not sure if she's ever used the vitamins though.

By far my fav workout!! Definitely measure first! I did level one for 10 days before I was ready for level 2. After doing it everyday for 2 weeks I only lost .8 pounds!!!! I was sooooo pissed. But my workout buddy and I measured again and she lost over 8 inches and I lost over 6 inches!! We are now on level 3 and out…

Your house should not be a restaurant, your husband should be perfectly capable to make whatever he want to eat if he choose not to eat what you are making. He will either chance his tune and eat what you make or cook for himself. Trust me, it works. My meat and potato boyfriend now eats fruits and veggies everyday, fiber…

Tomorrow is another day! Another chance to succeed! Good luck

Here's an idea...........DON"T WEIGHT YOURSELF! This was a very hard lesson for me to swallow (pun intended). I was working out so hard every day for 2 weeks, when it came time to weight in I'd only lost .8lb! I was crushed, so say the least. My workout buddy suggested we measure again, since we had measured before…

Netflix has tons of workout videos you can stream instantly to your tv. I have found many great workout. Everything from cardio, to strength, to dance, to toning. I recommend getting netflix just for the workouts!

Maybe you need glasses lady! Haha you look amazing! seriously. we are our biggest critic, but you should be very very proud of your success! I'm jealous =)

It's true, measure yourself! I an doing Jillian Michaels and after 10 days I had only lost .8 lb!!! So crushed! But I measured and lost 6 inches! There is always a bright side, and I know it's very hard but the number on the scale isn't everything!!

All it does is cut water weight, hence the name. It's not going to help you in the long run. Cut your sodium and drink lots of water and you will get better results
-
Don't worry too much about fruit sugars. MFP does not separate the sugars from say a twinkie and an apple.

Thanks for the tip! On level 3 of 30 day shred and still loving it, but always looking for the next fun workout! Good luck in your journey
-
Protein protein protein!!! Try a handful of dry roasted nuts or a protein shake or bar. And don't forget your water!
-
Awesome job! Jillian Michaels has me doing push ups as part of the 30 day shred video, I'm up to 2 sets of 10-15! Keep up the good work!! And you should be proud, pat on the back!

It's a British term of weight measurement. A stone is equal to 14 pounds

I agree that you shouldn't log it. I work on my feet all day, constant walking, but I don't log it because it's just part of my daily activities and I'm not getting my heart rate up enough to count. I wore a pedometer one day just for fun, it was a slow day and I still walked over 4 miles while on the job! Only log walking…

I'm currently on level one day 8. I still can't get through the entire thing without taking a breather or dropping my hand weights. I don't know if I'm going to be ready to go to level 2 by day 10. We shall see. I just do it everyday and take it one day at a time!

Salt and water can effect your weight from day to day. Also, your TOM. That's why your should only weigh yourself once a week. I find myself looking forward to weighing in and not dreading and fretting over every ounce like I was when I was weighing in everyday. 8 ounces of water weighs about 1/2 lb and if you have eaten…
