I'm on day 8 of level one right now, still loving it! I also log it as "circuit training". I love that it goes by so fast. I have the attention span of a 3 year old when it comes to working out, so this video has been perfect for me! Good luck fellow Shredders!

I concur, circuit training. I'm on day 6 right now. Although I hate Hate HATE it before and while I'm doing it, I LOVE it after! Looking forward to some awesome results!

I asked the same thing. I don't have a HRM yet so after reading other posts, I logged it as "circuit training". It might not to spot on but at least it gives me an idea. I'm on day 6, how about you?

I think it has to do with the caffeine, that's what dehydrates, So while I don't count my tea as water for the day, I do only drink decaf green tea (unsweetened of course)

Are you eating all you exercise calories back? Try that also eating lots of protein rich foods Hope this helps!

Go to the top to TOOLS, then go to BMI and calculate it for your own body.

Quit smoking AND start working out! Trust me, it can be done. I quit on Jan 1st this year and started my weight loss journey at the same time! It kicked my body into gear, being able to breathe when I worked out. I lost 22 lbs and have never picked up a cigarette again!! Good luck!!

Maybe keep some 100 calorie treats in your desk so you can have a treat while choosing a "healthier" option. Will power!! You can do it :wink:

Fruit and milk sugar is different then refined sugar. I wish this site would be able to track the difference. As long as you are not eating chocolate and candy all day you should be fine!

I do the same thing, but with vodka and Talking Rain sparkling water. The vodka is about 50-60 calories and the water had no calories, carbs, sodium, or sugar!

My friends and I tried that veggie soup diet where you can eat as much of the soup as you want......but that's all you can eat for a WEEK! After about 4 days, I went berserk and ate an entire can of frosting while my friend was trying to pry if out of my hungry hungry hands!

My man friend also gives his underarms a buzz on a regular basis, but I can't really tell either way. It still looks manly but maintained. People usually say use the machine as long as you CAN enter your own height and weight, but I always just use the smaller number. Only because I don't want to overestimate and then end up eating over my calories. Have you tried using a heart rate monitor? That might be the most accurate way to count burned calories.

MFP says to enter the calories from the machine if possible but I agree that only enter it if you can manually put your height and weight into the machine!

Diet and exercise, it's the only option for me anyway. I don't want to put unnecessary things in my body when I can accomplish the same results with diet and exercise, will power and dedication, hard work and sore muscles!!

It happened to me! 8lb loss one week then an 8lb gain the next. I was now working out the gain week but I too expected like 2-3lb. I think it was just water weight though because I lost 5 of the 8lb the next two days without working out. Have you watched your sodium? Drank enough water? Your TOM? I know it's hard not to…

I enter treadmilling (haha) as walking/jogging and enter in the setting I was on as miles per hour. I also ignore the calories burned on the machine, I tend to just use the MFP settings and they are usually pretty close for me anyway
