  • I eat whatever I want, it's mostly healthy (pats self on back), sometimes chocolate happens (oooops). But I consistently stay in my calorie goal, log everything, use commonsense (twinkie v. carrot sticks...hmmm which one is healthier), I've eliminated NOTHING from my diet. This works for me!!
  • Huh? I eat them all, it's never hindered my progress. Eat a variety of foods, stay in your calorie goal, log everything consistently, get some exercise, drink lot's of water, treat yourself in moderation. Don't deprive yourself and avoid restrictive diets!!!!!!!
  • I was in Vegas for 5 days last February. Loved it, what a blast! I never worry about calories on vacation...I've got the other 300+ days to keep myself in check. One thing I will tell you about Vegas though......you will walk walk walk your butt off. Even after all the delicious meals and cocktails we had I think I lost…
  • Oh my...there is a serious lack of solid food in your diary!!!!!! This is what you'd feed a infant or a toothless old person. I actually got depressed reading your diary. If you've decided to become vegan, ask yourself is this the way you want to live for the rest of your life. If the answer is yes...then do the research…
  • I never count it. I've seen too many people who consistently log it, everyday it's popping up in their newsfeed as 'light exercise' and I watch how their tickers don't move.
  • I've been a cardio junkie all my life and had the same mindset.....if you're not running around, waving your arms in the air, jumping up and down, shaking your booty, sweating and gasping for dear life.....then you're not getting a good work out. I've come to learn this is so not true!!! Don't be afraid to hop off that…
  • 1410 sounds like a good place to start if you're eating back your exercise calories. 1700 is most likely based off your TDEE which means you do not eat your exercise calories back. In looking back at your diary it looks like you're not using MFP to log your calories? Are you logging them someplace else? How do you know…
  • MFP's calorie goal was designed for you to eat back your exercise calories. The proper deficit for weight loss is already calculated into the number they give you. So if you're sure that you burned 1000 calories through exercise (that's a big number, do you wear a HRM?) Then yes, you can eat all or at least most back and…

  • ^^^^This!! Get yourself some nutritional counseling asap!
  • new work out clothes new work out shoes yoga mat heavier weights and kettle bell jump rope weighted hula hoop (lol don't judge, it's fun!) protein powder (I like their body fortress brand) vitamins other wellness products - body washes, lotions, candles, lounging jammies I'd say DVD's as well but lately I've been taking…
  • 1500 calories remaining = 1500 calories of pizza
  • There are no short cuts or magic pills. Pick a sensible calorie goal (1200 is too low for most people) and stick to the plan, eat healthy and exercise. Choose a healthy lifestyle over a crash diet and diet pills.
  • squats and lunges with weights for the butt push ups, bench presses and a good bra for the chest
  • Greek yogurt fresh fruit or veggies cheese hard boiled eggs oatmeal nuts peanut butter on toast cottage cheese
  • I drink diet pop and have never had any problems losing or maintaining my weight.
  • If you've only consumed 230 calories today - you could probably be able to eat what ever looks tasty at the mexican rest and it would fit into your calories and macros. There are no bad foods...just bad portions of foods. And not eating at all is more unhealthy than having a couple of chicken tacos and calling it a day.…
  • I loved it! Fun, lot's of action, Ben Kingsley was great, RDJ handsome as always. Solid entertainment!
  • Wow. Quite frankly your response to this family member was purposely cruel and unnecessarily mean. And the people praising you for it.....this post just brought out the ugly in people. There was a nicer way to communicate to this person how hard you've worked to achieve your goals without belittling her. For shame!
  • Yea go vegan. Sorry couldn't resist. I saw your other thread. You've been busy today.
  • I enjoy coffee so I'm going to drink it :drinker: Does it boost metabolism? Well yes....it's called a caffeine rush. Will that help me lose weight? NO. It's an insignificant little buzz. Is it bad for me? I don't know...people have drank coffee for years and years. Like I said I like the taste so I'm going to enjoy it.…
  • WHY would you want to cut meat and dairy out of your diet if you like it?
  • Ignore the scale. When you look in the mirror do you like what you see? Yes!??!? Awesome...goal reached!! Congrats on your weight loss!
  • I have asthma, yep it sucks having to depend on an inhaler! But it hasn't held me back from doing any type of exercise I want, even high intensity exercise. So for you since you are still getting over bronchitis I would start with just walking. Build up speed and duration as you feel better. Definitely follow up with your…
  • For me personally, I'd stick with the free resources - MFP, google, youtube ect. I'm of the opinion that the only food that hinders fat loss is 'too much food.'
  • Atkins is a diet. Stop dieting and start eating a variety of foods (mostly healthy, some not) and practice moderation and portion control. Log every single bite. Stay consistent in your calorie goal (make sure it's a sensible calorie goal not too low). Avoid restrictive diets and develop eating habits that you can sustain…
  • Push ups Pull ups Planks Strength training with heavy weights that challange you There are a lot of nay sayers regarding bicep curls and tricep extensions but I really like these exercises too. The key is to perform them with heavier weights and less repetition (lol...actually that rule applies to all aspects of weight…
  • Lol yea, I just shrug it off... I know what they are really trying to say. And the 'know it all' lecture in bro-science responses are really not necessary for most people.
  • 1 - Exercise 2 - A healthy well balanced diet with a variety of foods. Restrictive diets are a downer. 3 - surround yourself with positive people 4 - reward yourself in moderation 5 - counseling and therapy with or without medication
