In my opinion 1200 calories is not enough. That being said - your husband is being an insensitive *kitten* AND he doesn't know what he's talking about so clearly he should not be giving you weight loss advice. Discussion over. Tell him to keep his negative thoughts to himself. You've lost 45 pounds so far! That's awesome!…

Sorry...but that all sounds just miserable. I have a sweet tooth and I have to be very mindful of triggers that will make me 'binge'. But I worked very hard to overcome it and so glad I did. I can eat a variety of things in their correct portion and enjoy food! It's not the enemy! Are you giving up sweets forever?…

It's been worth the investment! I was originally told my treatment time would be 18 months. Now it looks like they might come off in August which will only be one year!

When I was younger, I struggled with the never ending diet cycle. It's all mental attitude - for me, I was either all in or all out, there was no in between. Permanent changes finally started to take shape when I started to make small changes over time. Walking everyday, stop eating when you're full, have healthy food on…

If you're looking for a quick healthy go to breakfast, any of the following are my faves, greek yogurt, banana, hard boiled eggs, almonds, cheese, Balanced Breaks by Sargento, I try to stay away from over processed stuff but on occasion I like the Quaker instant protein oatmeal in the cup or a Luna lemon zest bar (so…

Lol I know I sound like a broken record here - but you can't spot reduce. That being said - SQUATS. Start working on building muscle!!

I'm so sorry for your loss! Be kind to your body, you've been through enough stress. Like everyone else has said - up your calories, lose the weight slower, it's more sustainable that way.
-
Save your money and have a greek yogurt in the morning!

You're not in calorie deficit. Most people underestimate the calories they are consuming and overestimate the calories they are burning through exercise. Also - if you're not consistent, you're not going to lose. The age thing - menopause is a *kitten*! All people, but especially women lose muscle mass as we age. Muscle…

Stop. Reset. Begin again. This time with a sensible plan and NOT a crash diet. And like another poster said - maybe have a check up with your Doctor. Successful weight loss takes time, commit yourself to the long haul!

Just eat healthy and track your calories on MFP. Allow treats in moderation. I follow a general 80/20 rule. 80% healthy and 20% what ever the hell I want to eat.

As long as you're still moving - you're doing it right! I would not get too hung up on being in sync. Eventually that may come. The point is to have fun and raise your heart rate, be creative and do what feels right for you. I don't know what walking program you're doing but I have one I can recommend. Pahla Bowers youtube…

How old is your daughter? What is her height and weight? As others have said - she's probably eating more than she thinks and not burning as much as she thinks. But please be kind! She's a growing girl, and this is how bad relationships with food is formed!

Ugh. No thanks. 80/20 for me. I eat 'healthy' most of the time and allow myself treats in moderation. I never feel denied or deprived and I can enjoy food without adhering to a strict regiment.

1200 is way too low! I would up your calories to at least 1500-1600 and do strength training and/or body weight exercises. Stay consistent and you'll lose!!

That's pretty cool! I used to go to a gym that had 'Movie Night Spin Class'. They would start the movie and do a regular hour long class, then break for intermission. Once they resumed the movie you had the choice of sitting on a mat and watching the rest of the movie while relaxing or getting back on your bike for another…

hmmmm, the answer is still NO. Cleanses are a waste of time. Your liver and kidneys do a wonderful job cleansing your body. You money would be better spend hitting up the grocery store and buying a variety of healthy foods. Don't fall for gimmicks.

I would make an appointment with your Doctor for a physical. I'm sure it's nothing serious but it's always good to have it checked out. First thing that came to mind was Asthma??
