Once a year!! I would just enjoy!! It's only 3 days AND you're running a 5k to kick off the weekend! If anything....just exercise moderation, don't eat until you're stuffed. And when Monday back to reality rolls around....go back to your healthy habits.

I'd get a second opinion!!!

LOL love it!!!! When I first joined MFP and saw all the threads on women freaking out because they were bloated and gained a few pounds during that time I was mystified too!!!!! How did you not know this?!?! Drove me nuts. I've now moved on to - prepare yourselves!!!!! - MENOPAUSE. OMG!!!!! Yes you will gain weight, yes…

You'll never get a definitive answer whether yay or nay. Here's my approach. I use moderation 1 or 2 cups of coffee a day with hell yes cream and sugar!!! One diet or regular soda a day. Then I call a day and don't worry about the millions of internet debates on the topic. Moderation.

Years ago I went through a 'clean' eating phase where I eliminating all kinds of 'bad' foods that I love from my diet. I felt smug, self righteous and better than everyone else - for about 1 day. Then I just missed cupcakes. I now eat sensibly and in moderation. I've been successful at maintaining a healthy weight, I feel…

^^^ Exactly this!!!! A teaspoon of sugar in coffee is less then 20 calories!!! Enjoy your morning cup o joe! Rather then completely eliminating foods you like from your diet use moderation and log every calorie, stay in goal! And no no no no no no no.....there is nothing wrong with eating fruit!!!!! ....stay in calorie…

Even with your health conditions, losing steady and consistently is the way to go (unless otherwise advised by your doctor). Shoot for consistency and learning how to improve your relationship with food. Learn and practice healthy habits that will stay with you for a lifetime. Think lifestyle...not diet. Exercise is…

The solution to your problem is you need to start running....................................in the other direction from this MAJOR A HOLE. This man does not want to marry you. He is using verbal abuse and manipulation to make you think you're the one with the problem. It's not you. It's him. RUN!!!

^^This! Great advice!

Great post!!! Thank you!

So does sleeping and pooping and I wouldn't count that as a calorie burn. Your body burns calories 24/7. If you start to include everything as exercise calories you will be grossly overestimating. I would never log driving as exercise!

I had mine removed 3 years ago (good riddance!!!). I have no issues since!

MFP's sugar tracker is set ridiculously low!!!! I've turned mine 'off' and no longer track it. I rely on commonsense when it comes to sugar. When the sugar is coming from fresh fruit I don't worry about it as long as I stay within my calorie goal. As far as treats - 2 cookies is ok, the whole bag is not.

Snacks - greek yogurt, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit and or veggies, cottage cheese, string cheese, protein bars and nuts Lunch for me is easy - I work in downtown Chicago and have access to a lot of healthy food choices. I'll usually grab a turkey or ham sandwich, tuna or egg salad sandwich, tomato, basil and mozzarella…

Honestly you seem all over the map flitting from one exercise to another not dedicating enough time on any one in particular. I would suggest reading the New rules of lifting for women or following Strong lifts 5 x 5. (stronglifts.com) You need to streamline and simplify your workout. Also - for cardio you should be…

Yep what everyone else said. If you link it to your MFP profile it will calculate your calories burned based on steps. I generally think that it's a bit on the generous side....so I never eat back all the calories it gives me. But it's still a great tool to make sure your getting in your daily steps!

Ugh. Clearly I haven't had enough coffee this morning. A PITCHER of margarita's!!!!!!!!
-
Picture of Margarita's!!!!!!!! :drinker: Lol sorry! Actually I'd probably pack a cooler of turkey sandwiches or PBJ's, fruit, water, yogurt, string cheese, juice and diet soda (:noway: oh my god did she just say diet soda!!!! keep calm people)

I love diet a & w diet root beer!!!!!!....in moderation of course:wink: Also.......Gaelic Storm is awesome!! Saw them live a few years ago...great show.

This has been a topic of hot debate on these thread and you will never get a definitive answer. Here's just my view - 2 liters of anything (except maybe water) is excessive. I don't care if it's zero calories. Part of weight loss is getting a handle on portion control and self control. 2 liters is basically a binge, not…

I log everything!!!!

Great job! Congrats on getting your health back!! But I respectfully disagree with you. You stated in your post 'Carbs are bad because they made me fat and pre-diabetic'. Carbs didn't do it.....you did it. It was the consumption of too many carbs, too many calories and allowing yourself to become obese that caused your…

Here's the bottom line - you're eating too many calories on a consistent basis that's why you're not losing weight. Whether you choose healthy calories or junk food calories - it's just too many calories! There's a solution - but it requires willpower and consistency and STAYING WITHIN YOUR CALORIE GOAL. 1 - Log every bite…

Wait? Is this the same OP who posted a thread about 'looking fit' for their meeting with the PT? Ya know...the meeting at the coffee shop, and some babbling about pink faded yoga pants? The troll is strong with this one.

Once a every few months. I find that just looking in the mirror objectively is a better way to gage my progress. I also go by the way my clothes fit.
-
LOL:laugh:

If that's a recent picture - you don't need to lose any weight. You already appear too thin. I looked at your profile as well and your goal is to lose 2 to 4 pounds. I'd forget the weight loss and focus on developing a healthy relationship with food.
