OMG you're so sweet. I promise I'm a flesh and blood human. ;) I am currently on my last week of swimming, thank goodness! I can't wait to see what happens in the gym when I'm not wearing myself out 5 days a week in the pool. :) @katro Look at that face! You are looking super slim, I love your new avi. @pysch Definitely…

Yesterday I did a crossfit type class with my trainer, so I did: Round 1 (1 set): Thrusters with barbell (50 reps) Burpees (50) KB snatch at 26lbs (50 reps) Box jumps (50) Jump rope (150) I broke everything into manageable sets of 10-15 reps with about 30-45 seconds of rest, except jump rope which I've gotten good at.…

They are both proper. Sometimes you just need to exhale before you're at the top to give you a little more push. Sometimes you can hold it to the top. :)

I once had one of my preschool kids tell me "Miss Michelle, you smell reeaallly good. Not like Miss Wendy, she smells like a hospital." And when I was a waitress as a young adult I wore a name tag that said Michelle, serving you since 2001. These drunk guys came in and one guy tells me "Your name tag should…

Adorable.

True. I agree with you.

I've talked to her about more difficult things than weight. It's not really a big deal honestly. She's a grown woman.
-
Nope. If she asked me for help, I'd help her, but I wouldn't be pointing out gained weight. Like an adult needs someone to point it out.
-
If you don't burn through exercise what you are eating plus some, then you will still gain. If you burn exactly what you are eating, you will maintain. If you burn more than you are eating, you will lose.
-
If you aren't losing weight, sorry to say but you are not at a calorie deficit. I know the whole calories in calories out thing is repeated around here like crazy, but that is because it's true. Your body is simply not burning as many calories as you are eating. Have you been tested at the doctor for anything that may be…

@krok I buy mine cheap in discount stores around here all the time. :) They are usually $45-55 but I never pay more than $25 a pair if I can help it. I call my feet Flintstone feet and I loooove Chucks, especially for lifting. I'm picky about how my shoes fit. Say the word and I'll keep an eye out for a pair for you.
-
I teach swim all summer and I use Biosilk in my hair daily after I shower. My hair stays soft, no breakage issues, but I also don't wear a cap.
-
Chucks.

@weightliftingdiva, I don't log any of my exercise as I use the TDEE method of calorie counting, which includes activity. :)

I weight train on an empty stomach 3 times a week and I've put on muscle...so...

If you're gonna do the SL program the same day as running, do the SL first, then run! I couldn't imagine wanting to do my heavy squats after a full cardio session.
-
For me, it was staying within my weekly calories, but going over daily. HOWEVER, a cheat day meant macros went out the window.

I had a "I don't want to go home today" type of workout so I was at the gym for two hours. Squats: 5/5/5/4/5 @155lbs bummer on that fail, but I'll have it next time. I keep having mental fails, not physical. Bench: 5x5 @95lbs this is a deload weight, I think I've got my form nailed down though :) Row 5x5 @100lbs Then I…

One thing I read on here and liked, is to step away from the bar between each rep just for a couple seconds...and set up again. That way you are still doing 1x5 but it's like you get a chance to position yourself again 5 times and get your form right. :)
-
Okay, and let's just be clear here, my words were a lot more motivational than yours were to yourself. Lol!
-
3x a week following Stronglifts 5x5. I lift that many times because that's the program.

Buddy tape and hope for the best? Also, don't worry, I bet everyone takes lots of rest on OHP. I find when the weights get really hard for me I take up to 4-4:30 mins rest. lol :)

While I know you aren't fishing, I glanced at your pictures and your body is lovely. Also, you look 5-10 years younger, so that's a plus, especially at 30. I second Jo's recommendation for weight lifting. I'm the exact same weight I was about 2-3 months ago but have definitely lost inches all over and am just generally…

Besides forgetting I was supposed to go to the gym this morning and not setting my alarm early enough (do you even lift bro?) the morning way great. :) Luckily I woke up at 7 instead of 8 like my alarm was set for. Squats felt great, I'm at my body weight again now, rests were only 90-120 seconds too. :) Before my injury…

Also, are you tightening up your core before descending? Take a deep breath and hold it tight, you should feel yourself contracted all around your abs and lower back, form a solid base before taking it down.
-
Drop it drop it low girl, drop it drop it low girl. Try some box squats to get that butt down lower. You can do it! Concentrate on "sitting back", I really drop my butt low. Second bit of advice, don't be so hard on yourself! Be proud that you're doing it. Your brain doesn't need all that negativity in it when you set up…

You'd gain back several pounds at least just from solid food being reintroduced into your digestive system.

Once I lost 3 pounds in a day. It was probably poop. So if you want to cheer yourself up, have a good poo?
