Personally, I have to have carbs after a workout or I will pass out. No I am not diabetic, just the opposite....hypoglycemic. I find eating carbs right afterward keeps the energy flowing for me.

On Tuesday Men's Health had an artical online about the top 40 superfoods. And you guessed it....chocolate milk made the cut. Large glass right after a workout. I was so excited, I missed my choc milk.

I just checked out shakeology. Saw some videos on it and have done a lot of reseach the past few days. I have done the slim fast thing and it doen't help. But with the shakeology you get everything your body needs. Check it out. We are buying some this next payday.

This actually made me realize how much crap I was eating. I actually look forward to planning my day, and not starting a diet every Monday. Out of personal experience, the hcg diet is very bad for you. Only being allowed 500 calories a day is horrible. You could have long term effects from this. Be careful, they are loaded with sodium. We are learning to make our own, and I make extra and put single serves in the freezer for a quick lunch or a fend for yourself night. Plus I like a ton of crackers with my soup, and I get enough sodium from that.
