Too cute! I'm 5'3" and my hubby is 6'3" and we are and always have been 100 lbs apart. I love it, makes me feel safe even though I'm the one you have to watch out for. I just know I have back up!!

Right on sister...you got it! Hi to my new friend!!

True story! It's like asking if these jeans makes my butt look big. No, your butt makes your butt look big. No frets, age gracefully. Besides, for men they become distinguished...I'm pushing 40 and I don't call them wrinkles. They are laugh lines because I am so darned happy!!

Too funny, invite her up for a challenge. You never know that old lady may be grumpy cause nobody ever talks to her. I have found the grumpy ones to be the most funny. Laugh at her grumpiness and engage her in conversation, she may just turn out to be a great friend, then you would get away with anything upstairs!!

If you are in a big enough building, go walking on your lunch break. Also with that type of commute, blast that stereo and dance in your car. I know I always get funny looks and make people smile, and it is fun. Good luck on your journey!

I started tracking my sodium last week, and I am SHOCKED! I am keeping it at 1500 mg a day. I tried to eat some steak sauce on Saturday with my steak, and I actually spit it out cause all I tasted was the salt. It was super easy to get out of my diet.

Wow, glad you are going to be ok. I tried those also and all it did was make me sick and puke everyday. Needless to say I stopped them right away.

Ditto on the deck of cards, or make a fist and that is about the right size for you! Good luck

This is a great place! You and your wife can add me as a friend if you want. Tons of support here!

I too used to do ww. I now just do this. There is an app you can get, it is called trackit. It follows the points, but I stopped using that also and just use MFP. I find it much more rewarding. Good luck hon:smile:

Loved this artical so much, I printed it out. Thank you.

It's not like we can drop 50 lbs all at once, or we would all be doing that. Chin up buttercup, you have a new family here. Every little bit helps and it will add up in the end!

That is wonderful news!!

I just recently started watching my sodium. Someone on here had made a comment about how much sodium I was eating. And to be real honest, I was clueless because I don't "salt" anything. So I started tracking, and oh lordy was I way over. After a few days of really watching it closely, I noticed my belly wasn't bloating so…

Oh my! I was so mad earlier at the title, it has taken me hours to open this up. LMFAO I was ready for it to be real ugly!! Thanks for the laugh!!

I have a dog, and am happy to say we pick up after her. I had a neighbor once who had taught his dog that my yard was it's bathroom. I would scoop it up and walk over and put it on his front porch right in front of the door. Took about a month and it stopped.

I have 29 more to go, but you can add me as a friend, and I will try to help keep you motivated.

"Diets" don't work. It needs to be a lifestyle change. Do count your calories and change up your exercises. Being cranky is going to do nothing positive, and is going to bring negative results into everything. Good luck, but personally I would drop the "diet".

My husband and I went clothes shopping one day because we never buy anything for ourselves. I found a ton of cute jeans and tops and I went to try everything on. Sad to say I left there with 2 t-shirts and eyes full of tears. I refuse to go a size larger, so I just won't. My goal is to get back to a size 4 or 5, I am short…

That is so sad! I tend to say something to the child in front of the parent, and make their parent look like an idiot. I was standing in a check out line a few months back and this woman was just nit picking her daughter to death. Then she said to her daughter, " You are such a thorn in my side". I looked at the little…

This is a great place for support and encouragement. You can add me if you want, we have a great support system.

Ouch, that's a tough one. So sad that people do that to themselves.

Just go with it. I have curly hair and I had my hair dresser give me a "wash and go" cut. I have 5 kids so I know what you are talking about. I had board straight hair until I hit my mid 20's, and I freaked out when it went curly. Now I love it!! The key is to find a style that is easy to manage and looks great too. Good…
