I quit smoking over a year ago and also gained 40 lbs. I've been 'kind of' making an effort to lose the weight, but within the past few weeks I've gotten serious about getting healthy. Feel free to add me as a friend. Great job quitting smoking, it's not easy!

I have been on Atkins the past 2 weeks and am finally seeing some results. It all depends on your food preferences. Personally, I don't miss processed foods or starches at all. Ignore the haters and do what works for you. Good luck. B)

My weight loss stalled so I have been spending up to 2 hours at the gym 6 days a week. I normally go before my husband gets up, (5:00 am), so it doesn't interfere with our time together. If it's something you really want to do, you'll find a way. Good luck.

I lost 10 pounds very quickly on low carb but got stuck. I have recently started carb cycling and am seeing immediate results. I am on a 5 day low / 2 day high carb cycle. I add pasteurized egg whites (from the carton) to my green smoothies for additional protein. I also use them for my scrambled eggs, one whole egg to 1/4 cup egg whites. :bigsmile:

I have found several yummy recipes for Stuffed Pepper Soup online. I normally buy lots of green peppers when they are in season and freeze multiple batches of this soup for the fall/winter months. Good luck!
