I feel your pain. I had a "team building offsite" with my group from work and I was HORRIFIED when I saw the pictures at how huge I have let myself get. I have 90+ lbs to lose, so please feel free to friend me if you would like to do this together.

Hey Sammie, a few things to remember. If you put yourself out there, be prepared for ALOT of opinions, some of which will be snarky. I original question was wide open and up for interpretation. Having said that, #3,

WOW, this is wrong on so many levels. I don't think I could be this disrespectful to my husband. Venting in public to complete strangers..... :(

Hi all, I'm Kathy and will be 52 this summer, I have been with my husband for 31 years and we have a son that is turning 30 this month. I'm 5'5', CW 250 :'( I don't have a specific goal weight, I need to figure that out as I go. In the past I've set unrealistic goals that ended up overwhelming me. My first steps are: ~log…

Fellow wino here. I enjoy 2 or 3 glasses when I go out, I just know better than to keep extra bottles at home, where I might overindulge. Good luck.

I just started using the FitBit Charge HR and I love it!! You are able to sync it with MFP and get a really accurate calorie burn. I no longer have to enter my exercise into MFP, it loads automatically. The ChargeHR was $149 at Sports Authority (Oregon). It is "moisture" proof, but not water proof. If you are a swimmer, I…

Sounds like me. I was on the road for business for almost 6 weeks and between working long hours, eating out and having a cocktail or 3 in the evenings, I really went off the rails. I definitely feel your pain. Good luck to all of us!

My favorites would be a protein shake with 1/2 c blueberries or I scramble 1 whole egg, 2 egg whites and 1/2 c cottage cheese. Please don't hate on the 2 egg whites, it is a personal preference. B)

My excuse would be pregnancy weight. I put on quite a bit of weight when I was pregnant and have had a hell of a time taking it off. I have finally gotten serious because I want to be around for my son, who happens to turn 29 next month. B)

I HATED exercising until I tried strength training. I have added at least 30 minutes of cardio every day and find the weight is literally falling off. 530roman has it right, take it slow and see if you find something you like. If you have a large amount of weight to lose, as I do, I would highly suggest some strength…
