I tend to go for full fat if it's plain yoghurt that i'm gonna add fruit and stuff to but fat free if it's some crappy flavoured thing. Only where I live you can rarely get the full fat versions of certain brands cos everywhere seems to be pulling them off the shelves because of how evil fat is all making us all obese…

if you have a smart phone you could try using apps? There's http://c25kfree.com/ and then you could move onto something like this: http://www.active.com/mobile/10k which is what i'm currently using. They're good cos they build up to it :)

This. You are taking some serious risks with your health.

#1. Yes. I eat ice cream, cake, pizza, and drink a hell of a lot. I've still lost 35lbs because on average i've been under the calories i need. #2. I dunno. 1lb per week is hardly a snails pace in the long run though. Tape measure will probably show some differences. #3 .... because we're eating less calories than we need?…

Also, I don't know how accurate your diary is but eating 600-700 calories a day regularly is ridiculously dangerous.
-
Because your body needs fuel to do stuff? Most people don't eat back all their exercise calories because there's always the possibility that mfp has overestimated how many calories they have burned, but you should eat back some otherwise you're not going to have the energy to keep doing what you're doing

i've been making these : http://sallysbakingaddiction.com/2012/06/10/skinny-peanut-butter-swirl-brownies/ Obviously they're higher in calories cos of the peanut butter but still yummy and healthy. I switched the sugar for honey too.

fat isn't going to make you fat... if you enjoy it, eat it. I've eaten fage full fat greek yoghurt for breakfast everyday for like the past two weeks and it hasn't stalled my weight loss at all.
-
Also fast food. Generally just don't care and think i've been to a fast food place like once this year, and am usually disapointed when i do... takeaway pizzas are different though, unfortunately they tend to be a lot more calorie laden than your standard macdonalds...

Definitely bacon. Like it's nice, but certainly doesn't merit all these 'bacon-flavoured' products dedicated to it, and I rarely crave it.

i pretty much always eat breakfast, but that's cos i love breakfast type food. I've gone periods without eating breakfast and honestly im about as hungry by the time it comes to lunch either way, so if i knew i was having a big dinner or whatever i'd probably just go without. i've lost 30lbs, don't think it matters whether…

as other people have said 2-3lbs per week is way too much and you need to eat more. Especially when you're doing so much exercise or you're going to damage your health and gain the weight back +more when you go back to eating a reasonable amount of food as your body clings on to every calorie incase you start starving it…

Badly :P

The numbers you said sound about right then. The average woman needs about 2000, you're about average height but a lot more active than the average woman if you work out 5-6 times per week, so makes sense that you'd need more :). Only way to know is to experiment though. maybe try gradually increasing by like 100 at a time…

I think for me it's because i compare myself to others... hear people beating themselves up because they were ‘bad’ and ‘allowed' themselves to have a packet of crisps or some cheese or some other 'bad' food, and talking about how they need to now punish themselves for the rest of the week with exercise even though they're…
-
I count spices because I use LOADS in things like curry and even though they might seem like they have none, they can actually add up when you log them all... think the only thing I sometimes don't log is diet soft drinks. I drink gallons of the stuff at work (yes I know it's probably not good for me...) at work because I…

drink more water and eat more high protein food/food with lots of good fats

i'm 5'2 and usually eat between 1400 and 2000 per day (and exercise for about an hour a day) and am not very active apart from my exercise, and i usually end up losing at least 1lb a week... 1200 is likely to be below your BMR (the number of calories you'd need to survive if you were literally in a coma and not moving at…

so much pretty food

also maybe try this: http://damndelicious.net/2013/07/26/greek-yogurt-popsicles-and-a-blendtec-giveaway/ Not tried making them yet but looks pretty good :)
-
Also yes. Nothing compares to fage. has to be the full fat version though... tried the fat free version the other day (it's really difficult to find places that sell the full fat version :( ) and it tasted nasssstyyy
-
if you don't like it you don't have to eat it! I think it's amazing and just mix it with anything i have around that might go.... fruit, honey, nut butters, whatever. or you could try making these brownies : http://sallysbakingaddiction.com/2012/06/10/skinny-peanut-butter-swirl-brownies/ super yummy and don't taste like…

Hahah I'm also super awkward with trying to do compliments so I'm actually the biggest hypocrite for posting this. Never going on the internet after making friends with a bottle of southern comfort on a **** night again. I'm always really impressed by how much self control you have. you may work in a sushi restaurant but…

eh, when I tried eating 1200 calories a day because i was misinformed and assumed that was how little i needed to eat (and yes it was healthy stuff, loads of fruit and veg not one hamburger per day) I started feeling super dizzy all the time, like my head was swimming. Every time I'd go to stand up I'd have to sit right…
-
i always always always go over on sugar! I don't feel like i eat a lot of sugary or processed food but i have quite a sweet tooth and have gone over on just fruit and stuff sometimes :/. I figure as everyone else is saying, doesn't really matter as long as you're not diabetic.... I also find it really difficult to even…

wise words

I was having an awful day with a bunch of stuff going on (not related to this) and just kinda felt frustrated with everything and kinda needed a rant. I like to think normally i have a better attitude than 'everyone needs to look at me and tell me how wonderful i am'
-
Badly worded lol. I meant the longest I'd managed to run for without giving up before running the 5k was 10 mins
-
I can definitely feel the difference within myself, it's just kinda upsetting that no one else notices. I should definitely be doing it for myself rather than other people though :). I've DEFINITELY got fitter- i ran 5k the other day where my previous record was like 10 minutes :P. That feels pretty good.
