Never been there before, but good to know in case my husband wants to go there on a whim.

Tastes good if you add fruit and milk to it, OVER PRICED at 129 a bag. not necessary to spend that much on a protein shake and it comes with constantly being harassed by nutrition coaches (which anyone can become one)to buy more of their products. Sun warrior has a great protein shake that is just as good sold on amazon…

I pre- log my foods for the day and when I'm hungry go back onto my food entries and it helps me stay on track, also I try and pack my lunch for work so I'm not tempted by fast food places and junk at the gas stations on the way to and from work. If you stay at home, you could try getting into your workout clothes right…

I am not starting over but had a bad week of eating and could use some supportive friends to help keep me more accountable.

very good advice here, if he was so concerned he should have been supporting you for a healthier you not just about the weight loss. I am sorry you are going through this but do it for yourself and not him. you will be more successful this way and shame on him!

Talk to the dr prescribing it to you and see what they say. You can try to drink plenty of water, marijuana does tend to give you dry mouth, if your not hurting after smoking, try going for a light walk or clean or do something besides sit around and be tempted to veg out. that's all I got sorry.

I'm going to be getting a scale that weighs in grams and ounces. they have decent priced ones on amazon and walmart.

thanks for sharing the link, I love this idea as extra motivation.

I started at 232 at 5'3'' and started by tracking my calories and aiming for 64 ounces of water each day. start off with exercise slowly increasing it as you get more fit. I started by walking my kids to and from school each day and then got an elliptical and started doing 15 minutes each day and added time and upped my…

All my rewards are on my profile, but I do reward myself, my kids are too small to share shoes with them, plus I work so I have nice, comfy shoes to wear. A few of my past rewards have been a fitness watch, new clothes, weights for working out with, new shoes, getting my hair done at the salon. etc.

Anything can be unhealthy without moderation.

i wear the polar ft4 for my cardio and anything that my fitbit can't really track such as strength training and wear my fitbit all the time for steps and staying active at my job which has me on my feet the whole time.

liver and onions

side salads, fruit parfaits, small fries and a chicken wrap, there are plenty of healthier options at mcdonalds. You could also pack some protein bars and fruit if you wanted in a small cooler or lunch box for the trip back.

I prefer knowing how many calories I consume verses the points, where the fruit and some vegetables are free points.

my diary is open, Ive lost 51 pounds and have been active on here for 499 days so far. :)

family gym membership, I have 3 kids and work part time. youtube is great for free workouts also :)

Id highly recommend getting a heart rate monitor device such as polar or garmin with chest strap to get a better idea of how many calories and intensity your workouts are. I don't go by the machines, they over estimate calorie burns.
-
omg, apples have no calories hooray! j/k, but I input my activity level and stats in MFP and aim for half my exercise calories back. How are you tracking your calories burned? I use a polar chest strap, I noticed that MPF tends to over estimate calorie burns.
-
Id rather over estimate the calories then under and I've lost 51 pounds so far. I don't weigh things like my individual wraps or yogurts but I do weigh pretty much everything else I eat.

I always go up a pound or 2 during my TOM but I push myself to exercise and eat right while on it and it usually comes right back down if not more.
-
this right here, literally takes me about 5-10 minutes tops to pre log my food for the day and doing this keeps me on track each day. I'm still like 30-40 pounds from goal weight but after I reach that I will still log my food.

My Aunt gave me a bunch of her old jeans that she can't fit into anymore and they fit me along with some of her size medium tops. Now I have all new stuff for winter and this is the smallest I've been since before I had my 3 boys.

My first goal was to get under 200 pounds, bam! got that done, my second goal was to get under my pre pregnancy weight, bam! got that done. Now my next goal is to get under 180 pounds, 3.8 more to go to reach that goal, then I will keep going until I get to a healthier BMI range for my height and age.

There are plenty of foods naturally gluten free, oatmeal, corn based tortillas, chips, and cereals. You can make your own veggie pastas with spaghetti squash. You can make cauliflower crusts and veggie chips. I do not eat gluten free but I do limit my consumption of white flour products. good luck!
