I have a treadmill and it works for me; but I much prefer elipitcal! Gives you both lower body and upper body workout. I had bought a treadmill before I tried an elipitcal at a gym! Like it much better. When my treadmill dies I will get an elipical next.

I have a smartphone and have the app; it is good for when I have been away without my laptop. Although I like using my computer better but it sure helps. When I go to work though I usually enter night before what I'm planning to eat and just add the few other things I might eat extra either by my smartphone or my computer…

I weigh myself with basically just underwear and after my "business in bathroom".....figure it is true weight! always weigh myself within an hour of getting up in the morning.

I still will eat at special occasions. Just "healthy portions" ; a little of this and a little of that is my treat! I still have wine and I snack at night a little at times, or will have a lemon square or whatever when out to a friends but I do plan on it and will eat accordingly before I go. I think it is all in planning…

So what I did while I was away from home....Have it; but as someone suggested have with a tossed salad and just eat half; and take leftover home and make a 2nd meal with another salad. Also have a glass of wine with it!....hehehehe Won't hurt and will really feel like a big treat; your craving and a glass of wine!

I have a Weight Watchers scale...It's great! Gives weight in 10ths of a lb too...lol It also stores,etc but I only use it as a reg scale...get nude and weigh myself at same time of day of last time...

Becel is recommended by the Canadian Heart Association. That is what I use, and there is also low salt,etc in it. It tastes the most like real butter to me. I use extra virgin olive oil for cooking most times. I will also use real butter sometimes; but overall I use the Becel and like it!

Agree 100% with all you said....lol My best friend passed away; and have another close friend that's goes away all winter. The rest of my friends are in another city. Does make it hard. I do have some great golf friends; but in winter we don't golf here...lol

Definetly don't skip meals as you are planning...not good! Your body will make your metabolic rate slow down thinking you are starving it! Noticed my sugar daily intake is much too high! After my yogurt I have in the fridge I'm going to start buying "sugar free" I think! Also so much sugar in fruits! :cry:

Congratulations! I would go with MPF's suggestions. If you keep on the lesser amount you most likely would keep loosing and you probably don't want to do that. To maintain you would need the little bigger calorie count. Keep up the good work and hope you maintain for years!
