There are a lot of healthier ice cream recipes out there, but do they taste the same? No. If you have been asked to make it, and bring it, it is obviously something that is enjoyed by your company. So go ahead and make it! It's going to be healthier than the "frozen dairy desserts" that pass themselves off as ice cream!…

This. If you are interested in learning more about low carb, you could check out a couple of subreddits on Reddit. The Keto and Ketogains subreddits could provide you with more information (make sure to read the FAQ on the side of the page). Note: "Most" people on Keto keep their carbs to 20 Net grams per day (that seems…

pds06, I'm sorry for the loss of your spouse. I hope you are surrounded by loved ones and wonderful memories. I just read through all the comments and not one person has offered condolences to you. So much for offering support to one another. I agree with @Wynterbourne that I wish the "Recent Posts" didn't include the…

I think what you meant to say is that it's a sin against perfectly delicious ice cream! :)

My local Wal-Mart is now carrying it- next to the regular peanut butter.

Not sure I could do that. Isn't it too dry?

I also don't care for vegetables...but I keep trying! I have found a few that I can tolerate! I throw mushrooms (still can't stand them!), carrots, and green peppers in the food processor. This makes it easy to hide the veges in spaghetti sauce or meatballs/meatloaf. I also try different cooking methods for each vegetable.…

Here is another helpful subreddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/xxketo/ It is for females and there are quite a few posts regarding PCOS and weight loss.

Do you pick up your bib (race number) the day of the event? If so, then I would bring your Road ID with you. Sometimes bibs have places pre-printed on the back to write in emergency contact information. If the back of the bib is blank, then your Road ID would be great to have on (just in case). Good luck and have fun!

From that regards, I do understand why people would set their diaries to private. I'm not here to judge how other people eat. I do however, use it as a way to learn. Thank you for telling me how to check!

I stated above why I am interested in seeing it.

If you're serious about making a change, maybe you could ask the doctor to retest you (after being on the meds) in 6 months, and see if your numbers justify a lower dosage or going off of it/them. If you're not willing to do the work, then there is a good chance you will be on the meds for the rest of your life. Again,…

I completed a half-marathon this morning, and will be enjoying some ice cream later this evening!

Sorry OP, this won't help you, but for the women that are looking for a running top with a pocket, check out Skirt Sports. https://www.skirtsports.com/shop/product.cfm/id/3018-Tri-Tank#.U3eIbPldXT4 I don't have any of their shirts, but I have half a dozen of their skirts...and I love them!

I tried Miracle Noodles and I actually don't mind the fettuccine noodles, however, I had them with a meat sauce so I had more texture than just the noodles. I don't care for the rice, and I haven't tried the Angel Hair pasta yet (I bought a 6-pack from Amazon).

Beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

I'm a runner! I have done Goofy's Challenge (a half marathon on Saturday followed by a marathon on Sunday)...LOVE Disney races! This Sunday I will be doing my 15th half-marathon (since 2008)! Anyone can friend me!

It isn't necessarily a bad thing, unless you are constipated or the "movements" are painful. If you are eating clean (fruits, veges, meats, healthy fats) foods, your body has less waste. It is using all the good stuff you are giving it. Just make sure you are drinking enough water!

I'm also 5'2", and 40 years old (young!). I'm at 113 and would like to get to 108, however, I want to start lifting so I know there is a good possibility that I won't lose too much more. Feel free to add me!
Does it make your coffee kind of oily? I've been wanting to try this, but texture is of utmost importance in my food.
It has to be blended well, using a blender, immersion blender, or I use a hand-held milk frother. If you just stir it in with a spoon you will end up with an oil slick on top of your…

I'm 5'2" , 40 years old, and currently 113 pounds. I would like to get to 108 but the weight loss is slow going! I have started to add some weight-lifting into my exercise, so I know that could keep me from getting to my goal weight. I need to remember to check my measurements every month, as I think that will be a better…

40 years old (41 in June) 5'2" SW: 121 CW: 114 GW: 108 The weight comes off a lot slower as I get closer to my goal weight. I weight myself every day and it's amazing to me how much it fluctuates. I'm still looking for a pattern!

How long do you walk? If you walk an hour or less, you should be able to do it without eating before hand. More than an hour, a small meal of half a banana with a tablespoon of peanut butter might be enough- and don't forget to take water with you! That said, everyone is different. Some people need to eat or just prefer to…

Weekdays I am dressed and working out by 4:30am. I never eat before I work out- even when I am running a half-marathon. My stomach just can't handle it (believe me, I've tried- I just get sick).

Welcome Tara! My suggestion for the sugar in your coffee is to slowly decrease it. Say you use 2 tablespoons now. Try 1 1/2 tablespoons for a few days. Once you get used to that, lower it again to 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon. Keep doing that until you are either drinking black coffee or you are consuming an amount of sugar…
