Hello, my name is Tara and I have been using MFP for almost a month. I am new to posting on this site and I am looking for friends to communicate with on getting fit and healthy. When I started about a month ago, my beginning weight was 198 pounds and I am on 5'1" so needless to say I needed and wanted to loose weight. To date I've lost about 10 pounds and have been attempting to eat right and exercise at least 3 to 4 times a week. Any thoughts, comments, suggestions would be greatly appreciated especially on how to cut out the sugar in my coffee as that is where I seem to consume the most sugar grams during my dat. Look forward to dropping at least 40 more pounds during this journey.

Welcome Tara!
My suggestion for the sugar in your coffee is to slowly decrease it. Say you use 2 tablespoons now. Try 1 1/2 tablespoons for a few days. Once you get used to that, lower it again to 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon. Keep doing that until you are either drinking black coffee or you are consuming an amount of sugar that fits comfortably within your macros.0
