Choose another database item that is correct or create your own Almond Milk entry. You can't change an item in your FOOD diary other than delete it and add one that's correct.

I always ate every delicious calorie I earned by purposeful exercise. I just used the myfitnesspal numbers for exercise and I lost weight right on track. That's the way the site is designed to account for exercise. I lost 65 pounds in eight months and then an additional 15 pounds the next year for a total of 80 pounds lost…

Is he not fixing it because of your weight?

You really need some therapy. Seriously. You keep posting the same thing over and over, and the problem(s) are more than we can fix here on a random forum. You've been given excellent advise in your previous threads. Please tell your parents you need to talk to a professional. Your mind is spinning out of control with…

I meaaaan User name …has three posts all the same…posted at the same time as another user who was using a xss mouseover script…seems sus.

It works but. You give us little to go on, so in general if you haven't lost weight in a month, lower calories by 250 per day and give it another month. I'm assuming you haven't gained weight since you didn't mention it, so that's good. The numbers you get from an online calculator telling you what to eat are all just…

You can't target where your weight will come off. You can do exercises that will strengthen areas, and after weight loss they will look better but there is not any exercise in particular that will cause weight to go from one area. You can Google full body exercises if that's what you want but for now just find some active…

I love it that you said it's a new experience. That's how to look at it!! Have a blast!

I do those dead hangs. They're fantastic.

Yeah, I don't know what your PT entails, but you could always try modified versions gently but regularly and see if you get any relief. Also, if I skip a couple or three days of stretching it messes up my whole musculoskeletal system.
-
I'm really sorry you are struggling. Chronic pain is really difficult. I hope you have systems in place to relieve your fear about this latest flare. Have you been continuing your PT at home on a daily basis? I don't have ongoing pain WHEN I continue my PT, but if I stop, it doesn't take long for it to return.

The FOOD page allows tracking of food, the EXERCISE page tracks purposeful exercise. You log your weight or weigh-ins under "Check in" and you set up your calories goals under Goals from the navigation bar at the top of the page. Here's the explanation: How-does-MyFitnessPal-calculate-my-initial-goals
-
Yeah, not really sure what you need. Set your Goals here to "Lose 1 pound per week." Set your daily Activity Level honestly. Log food and exercise. Study your data and learn from it.
-
Well, full disclosure - I've been on this site since 2007 logging food. I lost a bunch of weight and I've kept it off within a few pounds. I eat "white carbs" including sugar, potatoes and pasta. Not every day and not every meal but I do work them in. I cannot maintain my weight loss without logging food. I don't have to…

I don't save my personal foods to the database so I'd be pretty miffed if they deleted any of mine because they are only MY entries.. However - back in the day every food was saved to the database without any option Yes or No, so no wonder the database is such a mess. It's a great way to come up #1 in a Google search, but…

Intermittent fasting works if it causes you to eat less. Just eat less. How were you accounting for your food when on IF? I mean, the 27 pounds you lost - was it fast because you under-ate? That's common with IF because people tend to restrict as much as possible and try to get by on one meal or use a lot of caffeine to…

Staff posted this: We are aware of the problem with goals not saving for Android app users and have created an open bug ticket to investigate the issue further. ^This had been happening to me for a very long time until recently. Mysteriously it "fixed" itself? Dunno. I am only on the website. Also, some foods I entered into the database a while ago (like longish time ago…years) don't show up in my Recents list when I use them from the database. It's super annoying but I am loathe…

It won't prompt you or change calories when you lose weight unless you go into Goals - and that's when it's working correctly. Apparently there are Goal calorie bugs right now? Not sure, I'm not having a problem.
-
Yeah, file a support request with your OS and device, etc, here: "Help" on any page, myfitnesspal Support
-
If you changed your Activity Level on the Goal page then the calories increase by 250 for every jump up in the Activity Level setting.
-
Check/re-check your height.
-
Where did you come up with 2170? What is your current weight? 1000-1300 is likely too low. Since we know little about you or your process, I'd say set your Goals here to "lose 1 pound per week." Set your Activity Level here as honestly as you can. Eat what the Goal setup tells you to eat. Don't eat under it by a whole lot.

My life crushing migraines stopped after menopause. So did the fear of pregnancy. To be fair, unless it was Immaculate Conception Part II…

The above will get you to staff. This is a members' forum.

Yep, what Tracy said ^ Here's the official Myfitnesspal explanation from the Help pages: How-does-MyFitnessPal-calculate-my-initial-goals
-
I never use that feature, but when they eliminated the Home Page social feed, that was likely eliminated because the only thing that "Complete Day" does is give you that "In five weeks" estimate and it used to post to your feed. It serves no other purpose. All your data is captured and saved without clicking that.

They will reply to you if you file a Support ticket on the Help page. There is a bit of back and forth involved, but I've always gotten an answer or a fix. HELP_ Support_ Contact Us

@AnnPT77 Yeah, I posted in the Acronyms Thread a few days ago. The IPOARM thread and Group links below from the Acronyms thread are dead now: _________________________________________________________________________ this is p.9, my post is down near the bottom
