  • Breakfast is usually fruit and a hard boiled egg. My snacks are special k crisps. Lunch is fruit and another egg. Dinner is what ever I decide to make.

  • I walk about 2.5 miles per day as part of my exercise plan. Right now at an average pace of 2.5 mph I burn about 300 Calories per day simply walking. My distance is about 1.25 miles and I try to do that twice a day. I don't care what others say and heck I even count the times that I walk around places like Costco and…
  • I have nearly 2000 songs from many genres on my cell phone, Its not uncommon for that to be going as I do my walk. The music ranges from Big Band and swing to 1970s and 80s rock right up to people like Voltaire and Lady Gaga. The tracks never get boring because the list is kept shuffled.
  • My favorite take out burger used to be the Triple O's burger from a local chain. On day the family was in a hurry so I have a Wendy's bacon ranch with fries and a drink, then I nearly dropped dead when I put it into MFP 1400+. Holy hanna that's nearly my entire days calorie allowance. Needless to say now its pick and…
  • I have been at this for 60+days right now and I have managed to get my snacking some what controlled. My main frustration is that as soon as I lose a few pounds my body puts them right back on again. For example yesterday I was down three pounds from a weight bump, this morning I'm nearly back where I start 60 days ago.…
  • Sorry for taking so long, all I use is diet and exercise. is all I am doing, Up to two miles a day over two sets,
  • Having just researched what my ideal weight range is, it scared the heck out of me. I am way above that right now and like some of the other posters I am going to shoot for a goal weight and when I reach it I will consider if I can get anywhere near 175-180 lb. I have not been that light since I was a kid, but back then I…
  • My why is simple, just before xmas I was hospitalized with Congestive Heart Failure. That is about as close to death as I want to come for many years. While laying in the ICU ward my doctor suggested that I loose some weight. Now I had a reason to but I still didn't start until after xmas when I found that I had gained…
  • Congratulations on your walking and no matter if you walk to get home or just walk it will still help. Try setting up a regular route, mine is .4 miles and I try to do it twice daily. So far it has helped me loose twelve pounds and it can help you just as much. IF you have a running track near you try walking or jogging…
  • My machine only seems to like socks so I buy many pairs of the same style and color, that way there is no such thing as an odd sock. I usually have another lose one of the same type.
  • Lunch today was nothing fancy, it was two Quaker caramel rice cakes (80Cal each) and a bowl of pineapple (forget how many Cals) add in just water to drink and that's it.
  • I weigh in once a week, it helps me prevent the games that my mind plays if I don't drop a pound every couple days.
  • My favorite snacks are the Quaker crispy minis rice snacks, only 90 Cals (but that is for 12 of the lill thing not the entire bag). Sitting and watching TV I seem do devour them like mad. It doesn't matter whether I have had a good dinner or not.
  • I can fully relate to this, it seems that my body wants to keep its old caloric intake even as I try to adjust things downward. Fibromyalgia and a heart condition keep me fairly sedentary. I doubt that I am thirsty because I am drinking upwards of 5 liters a day. Any suggestions?
